We’re sorry that we weren’t able to fully meet your expectations in some areas. Our spacious grounds are designed and laid out so that the distances... to the facilities are as short as possible and easily accessible. The campsites vary in size, but all are well-defined and arranged in such a way that, despite the differences in size, there is still plenty of privacy.
We’d also like to add a few details about our restroom facilities: Five restroom buildings that meet modern standards are available to our guests throughout the entire grounds. Two of them were recently extensively renovated. Since they’re spread out across the entire campground, guests always have the option to use a different restroom building.
We know that every guest has different ideas about what makes a perfect campground. We’re all the more pleased that we’ve been able to exceed the expectations of many of our guests with our spacious grounds and modern facilities.

The mobile home was clean, modernly furnished, and very comfortable—you immediately feel right at home.
We were particularly impressed by the beautiful surroundings. The campground is located right on Lake Ossiach... and offers a stunning view of the mountains. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking, swimming, biking, or simply relaxing in nature. The location is ideal for families in particular, as it offers both peace and quiet as well as many activities nearby.
The atmosphere at the campground was also very pleasant and friendly. We felt welcome the entire time and were able to enjoy our vacation to the fullest.

Overall, it also gave the impression of being very (over)crowded.A beautiful resort in a beautiful locationWe stayed at the campground from July 25 to August 1, 2026. Overall, the campground is beautifully laid out, and we especially loved its great location by the lake with a view of the mountains. The many trees provide plenty of pleasant shade, especially on hot days, and contribute to a lovely atmosphere.... The playgrounds and water stations are also nicely designed and are a great feature, especially for families.
However, we weren’t as pleased that the campground seemed very crowded during our stay. Especially during peak times, the available capacity at the restroom facilities was noticeably limited. We frequently had to wait in line for the showers, restrooms, and washing machines. We can certainly understand that you found the campground... to be quite busy during your stay—especially in late July and early August, when we’re fully booked during peak season. Our five restroom buildings are spread throughout the entire grounds and are proportionate to the number of our campsites. Should there ever be wait times at one restroom building during peak hours, our guests can therefore use the other restroom facilities as an alternative.
We regret that you found this situation disruptive and, of course, we’re happy to take your feedback into consideration. Thank you very much for your visit, and perhaps we’ll have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Lake Ossiach on your next stay!

As a large campground, we offer a wide variety of different campsites. Many of them are particularly spacious, ensuring there is plenty of room and privacy... even when vehicles are parked side by side. Our access roads have also been designed to be easily navigable by large trailers and RVs.
Thanks to the terraced layout of many areas, numerous guests enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Ossiach. However, at a campground, it’s unfortunately not always possible to avoid a larger vehicle partially blocking the view.
Especially during the summer months, we’re delighted to welcome many guests, which naturally brings more life to our campground. This makes it all the more wonderful that you found the quiet after 10 p.m. to be a positive experience.

Bodite prvi!- MSMelanie S.julij 2026PozitivnoLocation, private dock, peace and quiet, no dogs during our stayNegativnoNarrow access roads to the sitesGreat spot right on Lake OssiachThis was our first time at Seecamping Berghof, and we had a spacious, comfortable site in a quiet, terraced area on the eastern shore with a direct view of the boat dock. We traveled with three children under the age of 12 and picked up the Kärntenkarten in advance (though you can also get them directly... from the campground for a fee). This allowed us to enjoy many recreational activities—such as boat rides, the gondola to Gerlitzen Alpe, Affenberg at Landskron Castle, and Family Wald Ossiach—free of charge. Lake Ossiach is simply gorgeous and perfect for swimming or water sports. The kids attended the kids’ disco and magic shows and otherwise played at the playgrounds. During peak season, there’s also a varied children’s program in the mornings and afternoons, though we didn’t take part in it because we had our own activities planned. At the supermarket on-site, you can get everything you need at a reasonable price. On Mondays, there’s a fried chicken cart (which we always used), and the To-Gi pizza is also highly recommended. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For a campground, there’s a lot on offer for kids. My seven-year-old son was able to play with other kids on the grounds more or less on his own. The two swimming beaches are also lovely. The campsites are really well laid out,... and the premium sites have water, electricity, and sewer hookups, as well as the option to dispose of the chemical toilet right next to the RV. We were also able to extend our stay by a day, though that depends on occupancy, of course. There are plenty of sports options in the surrounding area—downhill biking is especially good there. It’s just a short walk to the lake, the shops, or for biking. The Gerlitzen Mountains and many other day-trip destinations are easily accessible—even by boat, which departs right from the resort and is free with the Kärnten Card. We stayed in a mobile home that left nothing to be... desired—beautifully furnished with air conditioning and even a dishwasher; simply fantastic. The location of the mobile homes was also great, with everything just a short walk away. The restrooms were always clean and beautifully renovated. The playgrounds were lovely and brand-new. A highlight for our child was the covered and air-conditioned indoor playground and the pony rides, which are offered for free once a week. The adjacent restaurant comes highly recommended—the quality and price are wonderful, as is the service. The front desk staff and employees were also always friendly and helpful. We were thrilled and really relaxed there, not least because of the peace and beauty of the natural surroundings.
