We were able to pick a nice spot upon arrival—there were a few open ones, though we were here during the off-season. We’re so glad you felt welcome and at home with us. We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed the lakeside location, our restaurant, and the shopping options on-site. Our four-legged guests are also welcome during the shoulder and off-seasons—so we’re especially... glad you were able to spend a relaxing time with us along with your dog.

- 5.0MHMichael H.september 20265.0MHMichael H.september 2026PozitivnoA well-maintained, clean campground in a great location by the lake. The supermarket at the entrance was very convenient. Camping sites are available in many categories and sizes.NegativnoFrom a dog owner's perspective, the fee of 5.50 EUR per dog is unreasonable. There are far too few places to dispose of dog waste, and there are no poop bag dispensers, let alone a dog shower.A Relaxing Vacation at Lake OssiachThe campground is in a beautiful location and very clean.
Our campsite right on the water was great.
The staff are all very friendly. The supermarket at the entrance is very convenient, since the nearest place to shop is a bit further away. Upon arrival, check-in was also perfect and very friendly.
The... campground was also very quiet and perfect for relaxing.
If there’s anything to complain about at all, it’s the issue with dogs (as described under “Cons”) and the Wi-Fi, which was sometimes absolutely terrible.
I can’t comment on the adjacent restaurant because we didn’t use it.
All in all, I can recommend this campground.Samodejno prevedeno.Odgovorjeno od Seecamping Berghof 22. oktober 2026Thank you very much for your detailed feedback and for recommending us to others!
We’re very glad you were able to enjoy your vacation by the lake and that you were satisfied with our team, the campsite, and our supermarket.
Thank you also for your comments regarding dogs. Dog waste bags are available... at the front desk, and you’re welcome to ask our staff for them. This is also noted in our information sheet on vacationing with dogs, which our guests receive upon arrival. There are also several places on the campground where you can dispose of used dog waste bags.
Regarding Wi-Fi: If many guests are online at the same time or weather conditions are unfavorable, you may experience slower connection speeds. We understand that this can be frustrating and appreciate your feedback.
We’re glad you had a relaxing time with us and hope to welcome you back to Lake Ossiach again!

No booking requirements during this time—availability is open. .NegativnoFood options are limited; there is no cafeteria. There is a very unpleasant odor near the waste disposal center.Vacation in October 2026Very beautiful lakeside location, laid out in terraces, very neat and clean. Easy access. Mature trees and lovely green spaces, with a great playground for children. The beach is also nice, and the water quality is excellent—crystal clear! Boat dock on-site. Sanitary facilities with restrooms, showers,... private wash stations, washing machines, and chemical waste disposal are excellent and always very clean. Small bike repair shop for DIY projects.
A wide range of informational materials, brochures, and maps is available, along with helpful advice. Great and helpful staff—very friendly. Processes are always very quick and efficient. Gas bottle refills available on-site—very convenient at this time of year. The supermarket is well-stocked and easy to navigate, with fresh baked goods every morning. Good access to the campground itself as well as to the individual campsites.
The trash area might need to be adjusted, as there’s an unpleasant odor in the immediate vicinity. The food options still have significant room for improvement. There’s no cafeteria at all. There are also no alternatives in the immediate vicinity during this time of year. A good starting point for a wide variety of activities. Highly recommended for those seeking peace and quiet during the off-season.

We’re very pleased that you had a wonderful vacation with us and that you specifically highlighted our team, the cleanliness of the restrooms, and the organization on-site. We’ll be happy to pass your praise along to our staff!
Thank... you also for your candid feedback regarding our trash collection areas. Given the size of our campground, we need several waste collection points to keep the distances as short as possible for our guests. The containers are emptied regularly to minimize any potential odors as much as possible. However, this can’t always be completely avoided at a heavily used facility. We’ll certainly take your suggestion into consideration.
It’s a shame that our dining options didn’t impress you. We receive a lot of positive feedback about our restaurant.
We appreciate your comments regarding the lack of a cafeteria. Feedback like yours helps us continue to improve our offerings.
We’re glad you were able to enjoy the peaceful autumn atmosphere, nature, and the many activities around Lake Ossiach. We’d love to welcome you back again!

We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and that you liked our lake, the campsites, and the cleanliness so much. We’ll be happy to pass on your praise to our team!
Of course, we understand that you’d like to bring your dog along on vacation. However,... during peak season, our campground is very busy, and we host a particularly large number of families with children. If we were to allow dogs during this time, the large number of guests and dogs would quickly make things too crowded for everyone. That’s why we’ve made a conscious decision to implement this policy. During the off-season and early season, however, we very much enjoy welcoming guests with their four-legged companions.
Thank you also for your suggestion regarding the snack bar by the lake—we’re happy to take such feedback into consideration. We would be delighted to welcome you back to Lake Ossiach!
