The parking spot was a great size; the location is quiet and has good access to transportation. The staff are all very friendly.

We were greeted very warmly at check-in (thanks, Anette). The staff at the campground were all very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay for Bike Week at Lake Faaker See, even though it was unfortunately rainy at times. We’d love to come back.

Two days of rain 🌧️! … but neither the incredibly dedicated staff nor the other campground guests could do anything about it! As we all know, after rain comes sunshine… and that’s exactly what happened—and it was great!

Wi-Fi—the Wi-Fi was practically nonexistent at my campsite!

Location, accommodations, friendliness, cleanliness, operations, check-in, check-out, great supermarket with super nice and lovely staff, great front desk with equally nice and friendly girls—all in all, a perfect feel-good experience.

The restaurant’s hours and, above all, the utter rudeness of a waiter who vehemently berated us because we asked at 9:02 p.m. if there was still anything left to eat, and who practically “shouted” at us that the last order is taken at 8:45 p.m. Two days earlier, with a very nice waiter, we were able to order something to eat at 9:15 p.m. In my opinion, treating paying guests this way is absolutely unacceptable and should result in consequences.

The discount supermarket is in a great location. This is especially true for RV travelers who don't have a second vehicle with them.

There aren't any. At least not for us.

The campground is in a beautiful location. The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful, and we felt warmly welcomed from the very first moment.

Personally, though, I thought it was a shame that we had a campsite with hardly any grass. Due to the heavy rains, the ground had become very muddy and unstable. As a result, my Harley’s side stand sank into the ground, causing the motorcycle to tip over and fall against our tent. The tent was set up behind our van and was actually meant to protect the Harley from the bad weather.

Not exactly cheap compared to French or Spanish campgrounds of the same standard. According to the information provided, the restaurant is open until 9:00 p.m. When we placed our order at 8:45 p.m., the waitress wasn’t particularly thrilled. When we pointed out that, according to the information provided, the kitchen was indeed open until 9:00 p.m., she suggested that it might be possible after all, but she would have to bring all the dishes—that is, the appetizer and main course—at the same time. We weren’t exactly thrilled with this suggestion regarding the pikeperch we’d ordered. In the end, the main courses were served after the appetizers after all! Despite this minor hiccup, we’d like to emphasize that the food tasted excellent, which is why we visited the restaurant again the next day.

Canoe rentals were all handled at the front desk. The Wi-Fi could be better.

Unfortunately, seats were assigned, and we weren't given the option to choose from available seats. Very little light while washing dishes in Washhouse 5 Wi-Fi connection is unstable

It was fantastic again, as always. So we'll definitely see each other again next year.

It’s too bad the stamp card isn’t valid anymore. I’d be willing to pay something for those stamps you’ve collected. Now it’s worthless.And on top of that, they’re still putting stamps on the old card, which is no use to you anymore. That’s weird—I’d say put them on the new loyalty card. You saved up for it, and now you can’t do anything with it. And I hear that a lot of guests always get something—like an umbrella or something else—but we’ve never gotten anything. It’s a shame—either everyone gets something or no one does, I’d say— but that’s just my opinion.

A fantastic location right on Lake Ossiach, spacious campsites, very clean restroom facilities, a well-maintained campground, friendly and helpful staff, a good supermarket right on the campground, and plenty of options for day trips.

For us, there's really only one: Dogs are allowed only during the off-season. Unfortunately, this severely limits the possible travel times for dog owners.

You can only make a reservation at a restaurant for groups of 6 or more. Otherwise, the wait time is too long. And the waitstaff get too rushed.
