We had a comfort site that was in a truly beautiful location and offered plenty of space even for large RVs. The reception and check-in were great right from the start, with very friendly staff. The SPAR supermarket on the grounds is huge and has absolutely everything. The new restroom facilities are... also a total hit. The atmosphere at the campground is very civilized, quiet, and friendly. The bike path runs right past the reception area, and you can set off on wonderful bike rides, walks, or hikes. The restaurant is great! Superb food, a wide selection, and generous portions. The only minor downside is the somewhat small beach. We really enjoyed our stay and would book this spot again in a heartbeat. A clear recommendation for anyone who hasn’t been there yet.

As mentioned above, the service was excellent all around. I’ve never seen such a clean restroom area. The cleaning staff even scrubbed the shower floor, even though everything looked brand new. The restaurant’s kitchen is top-notch. We ate there several times. The only thing I can think of that I didn’t... like—though this has nothing to do with the campground—is that at the supermarket I had to check everything; a lot of it was expired or moldy. A big thank you to EVERYONE! The ladies at the front desk always seem to have a smile on their faces and even wave when we walk by :-). So, overall, 6 out of 5 stars, grin

Unfortunately there are no dog bags anywhere in the area! Normally I always have some with me, but unfortunately I forgot them at home this time! There are usually some in the Sparmarkt but unfortunately they didn't receive any this time! Too bad that dogs are not welcome the whole season!

The fact that dogs are not permitted on our property throughout the entire season is due to organizational reasons. During peak season, we welcome a large number of guests, including many families with children. Even if only a portion of our guests arrived with dogs, the number of dogs on the campground would be very high. To ensure a pleasant and relaxing vacation for all guests, we have therefore decided on this policy.

A beautifully situated, terraced site that we were able to drive to with 3 caravans without a reservation. The ladies on arrival were super, super nice. The sanitary facilities were very nice and clean. We would have liked to stay here longer. We will definitely be back.

You can do so many things from the campsite without using the car. Great cycle paths!
The staff on the campsite, no matter who, are extremely friendly and courteous. For the kids, no matter what age group, there is really something on offer. No time for... boredom.

The place is just great, clean, quickly accessible, super nice neighbors who also bring understanding when children are sometimes louder. Super nice lake. Supermarket on site. There is really nothing to complain about.

The sand on the west beach has already run out due to the children's digging. Perhaps a truck could be found to pick it up here. It was also a shame that the trail on the other side of the road was closed, but of course it wasn't the campsite's fault. But that was always my evening ritual...
Third visit and the third time flawless
I have already mentioned the essentials.
There really is nothing to complain about at this wonderful campsite. Whether it's the sanitary facilities, the supermarket, the pitches or the reception. Everything is tip top.
The super nice and competent ladies at the check-in desk deserve special mention,... as they are so friendly, even at short notice, that it's almost scary ;-) This is hospitality as it is written in the book.
The cleaning staff, who ensure the cleanliness of the entire area around the clock, are also super nice and friendly.

In my opinion, there are only 2 things that could be improved.

Point 1:
The sand is getting low at the bathing areas for the kids to dig in, but that should be quite easy to solve.

Point 2: The disposal island could be a bit more structured. Then you wouldn't have to "squeeze past" the glass at the residual waste containers where it can smell a bit stronger on hot days. Basically, better waste separation would not be a bad thing in terms of sustainability.

All in all, I give it 98 out of 100 points.
We will definitely be back on vacation at Seecamping Berghof.
