We were able to pick a nice spot upon arrival—there were a few open ones, though we were here during the off-season. Dogs are welcome during the off-season, and we got the impression that everyone had one with them :-) There are walking paths, and dogs are also allowed in the restaurant. The grounds are well-maintained, with mature trees. Very well organized. The gas bottle refill service is top-notch! There is a very unpleasant odor near the waste disposal center.Vacation in October 2026Very beautiful lakeside location, laid out in terraces, very neat and clean. Easy access. Mature trees and lovely green spaces, with a great playground for children. The beach is also nice, and the water quality is excellent—crystal clear! Boat dock on-site. Sanitary facilities with restrooms, showers,... private wash stations, washing machines, and chemical waste disposal are excellent and always very clean. Small bike repair shop for DIY projects.
A wide range of informational materials, brochures, and maps is available, along with helpful advice. Great and helpful staff—very friendly. Processes are always very quick and efficient. Gas bottle refills available on-site—very convenient at this time of year. The supermarket is well-stocked and easy to navigate, with fresh baked goods every morning. Good access to the campground itself as well as to the individual campsites.
The trash area might need to be adjusted, as there’s an unpleasant odor in the immediate vicinity. The food options still have significant room for improvement. There’s no cafeteria at all. There are also no alternatives in the immediate vicinity during this time of year. A good starting point for a wide variety of activities. Highly recommended for those seeking peace and quiet during the off-season.

I had misplaced the receipt for the rental pool because I didn’t know I was supposed to keep it—they could mention that to guests as well.A very nice campground by the lakeWe especially liked the campground’s location on beautiful Lake Ossiach… The campground itself is lush and green, and it wasn’t fully booked during our stay—there was plenty of space, which was very pleasant. The atmosphere was also very nice—quiet, with very friendly neighbors. Bringing our dog wasn’t... a problem at all; everyone was very friendly, and it was hassle-free. We were able to really relax. A great campground in a beautiful location on Lake Ossiach. Perfect for paddling, whether on a SUP or in a kayak. The campsites are nicely laid out. The restrooms are spotlessly clean and in very good condition. We highly recommend using... the KärntenCard. It includes access to many mountain railways, museums, and similar attractions.
