De sfeer is prettig, de omgeving heel mooi. We were told that the campsite is the biggest, but it doesn't seem that way at all. We stood with our bus at the left edge of the camping, where there were also many tents. Daar vinden we de sfeer heel relaxed. Het sanitair is goed en schoon. We have been coming here from time to time for over 30 years and are always delighted. The sanitary facilities are sufficient, have been modernized again and again in recent years, are always clean and we have never experienced any traffic jams... even when the campsite is full.
The well-stocked supermarket has everything you need for your daily needs. You can even have gas bottles filled. We are happy to accept that the prices here are a little higher than the discounters if we don't have to drive all over the place to get them. The restaurant, the ToGo service and the snack pavilion on the west beach round off the offer.
They are constantly striving to invest here and thus
to provide a good infrastructure and leisure facilities. Recently, the offer for mountain bikers has been very attractively expanded in cooperation with an external organizer.
We find it very positive that dogs are not allowed on the site in the main season of July and August.
On a side note, I would like to mention that on arrival the customer service at reception was unfortunately a little rude. An older lady constantly distracted the lady who served us from the conversation with us with unimportant things about sweets. We therefore had more the impression of being disturbed than welcomed.
Furthermore, it would be desirable for a receptionist to be familiar with the spelling of common first names ( Waldraut :-) ).
All other staff, no matter from which area, were very, very friendly and helpful!
