Everything was very clean, and the staff was friendly!

The power connection runs across the street—unfortunately, a lot of people end up driving over the cable! The plots are close together, but the lakefront spots are very nicely separated by small hedges!

In some places, the spaces are quite tight, and some of the lots have no privacy at all

We were completely satisfied. Spacious sites, friendly staff, and clean, modern restrooms. It’s a large campground but well-laid-out, so it feels smaller—which we found very pleasant.  A beautiful lakeside promenade, (water) play areas for children, table tennis, quiet rocking chairs, and several beaches. We really enjoyed our stay here and even decided on the spur of the moment to extend it. It’s worth a visit not just for those passing through but also for a vacation in Carinthia!

During the peak season, starting with the summer vacation period, it got busier, and as a result, even the hard-working cleaning staff couldn’t always keep up. But that was more due to guests not cleaning up as well as they did during the quieter times, when everyone left everything very (!) clean.

I liked everything

We had a wonderful stay at the Berghof Campground and can wholeheartedly recommend it. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The entire campground is very well-maintained and beautifully landscaped. We were particularly impressed by the excellent dining options, featuring outstanding food and consistently friendly service, as well as the 500-square-meter, well-stocked grocery store.  The beaches are beautiful and perfect for relaxing. Another highlight was the sightseeing boat tour, which departs directly from the campground—a very pleasant and highly recommended experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to coming back next year!

We would have loved to have a shower at the beach so we could rinse off every now and then!

The campground’s location makes it a great starting point for beautiful excursions. We would choose our site (W33) again in a heartbeat. It has a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. It’s centrally located near the swimming beach and the restroom facilities. The restroom facilities were always very clean.

There were no downsides for us.

The surroundings, the location, and the friendly, attentive staff. We stayed in a vacation home—it had everything we needed and was clean and tidy.
