Great location, with a wonderful view of the lake from many spots, clean grounds, good and modern restroom facilities, friendly staff, and a large supermarket with everything you need. Simply great 👍

We would have liked a bar by the water that was still open in the evening. We really enjoy having a cozy drink in the evening.
Great stopover
We were passing through and stayed there for two nights, and we really enjoyed it. It’s a clean, terraced campground that’s easy to access even with larger RVs. Its proximity to the highway makes it very accessible.
The food at the Berghof country inn is delicious, and the staff goes out of their way... to seat all guests. You don’t need to make a reservation, but you might have to wait a bit.
The restroom facilities are very modern and clean. I really liked that the showers were separated by a door.
Bottom line: a really great campground

A great week full of experiences
We stayed in a mobile home as a family and were very satisfied. The lake was a pleasant temperature for swimming, and the view was fantastic. Our sons did a lot of fishing. Many thanks to Ingo for the great fishing tips. We got out and about a lot with our Carinthia Summer Card. There are many places to visit within a short distance. We had great weather during the first week of July and always ate on our porch.

The power connection runs across the street—unfortunately, a lot of people end up driving over the cable! The plots are close together, but the lakefront spots are very nicely separated by small hedges!

We were completely satisfied. Spacious sites, friendly staff, and clean, modern restrooms. It’s a large campground but well-laid-out, so it feels smaller—which we found very pleasant. A beautiful lakeside promenade, (water) play areas for children, table tennis, quiet rocking chairs, and several beaches. We really enjoyed our stay here and even decided on the spur of the moment to extend it. It’s worth a visit not just for those passing through but also for a vacation in Carinthia!

During the peak season, starting with the summer vacation period, it got busier, and as a result, even the hard-working cleaning staff couldn’t always keep up. But that was more due to guests not cleaning up as well as they did during the quieter times, when everyone left everything very (!) clean.
Beautiful Campground
We were very happy with the campground and would love to come back. We really liked the grounds. It’s large, but the many little nooks and crannies give it a more intimate feel. We were very happy with our site.
We actually only planned to stay three nights, but we felt so at home that we ended up staying... a whole week.
Unfortunately, the on-site Spar supermarket is a bit pricey, but it’s fine for small daily purchases.
Just a heads-up for anyone who wants to get a pizza to go from the on-site restaurant: unfortunately, the restaurant only offers wood-fired pizza during peak season; the takeout option is separate and consists only of frozen pizzas. That’s not a big deal, but it’s something you should know in advance.

I enjoyed the surroundings and the facilities
Seecamping Berghof is a beautiful campground with spotlessly clean restrooms, a large supermarket, and a cozy restaurant. What was especially ideal for us as RV travelers were the cars you can rent at the campground. We took them on a wonderful trip along Lake Faaker See, Lake Wörthersee, and Klagenfurt. Highly recommended!

We’ve never encountered such friendly staff at check-in—helpful, humorous, and patient, even though the place was packed!! Awesome.
Lots of nice spots to choose from, great location, direct access to the lake, and the lake is especially beautiful here, with a clean, beach-like shoreline and good depth... for swimming.
The restrooms are modern and clean; it’s also great that the supermarket is right next to the campground and is open 7 days a week.
All in all, a really great campground—
we’ll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Berghof Campground and can wholeheartedly recommend it. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The entire campground is very well-maintained and beautifully landscaped. We were particularly impressed by the excellent dining options, featuring outstanding food and consistently friendly service, as well as the 500-square-meter, well-stocked grocery store. The beaches are beautiful and perfect for relaxing. Another highlight was the sightseeing boat tour, which departs directly from the campground—a very pleasant and highly recommended experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to coming back next year!

We had a wonderful stay at the Berghof Campground and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The entire campground is very well-maintained and beautifully landscaped. We were particularly impressed by the excellent dining... options, with their outstanding food and consistently friendly service, and the 500-square-meter, very well-stocked grocery store is a highlight.
The beaches are beautiful and perfect for relaxing.

Another highlight was the sightseeing boat tour, which departs directly from the campground—a very pleasant and highly recommended experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to coming back next year!

The campground’s location makes it a great starting point for beautiful excursions. We would choose our site (W33) again in a heartbeat. It has a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. It’s centrally located near the swimming beach and the restroom facilities. The restroom facilities were always very clean.

The campground was very clean and well-maintained. The campsites are very large. Lake Ossiach is very clean and has good access points to the lake.
We felt right at home.

Whenever we had questions or concerns, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
The grounds are exceptionally well-maintained, and we got the impression that dog owners here follow the rules.

It’s a great area for biking, hiking, and relaxing.
This definitely wasn’t our last visit—we’ll be back.

Wonderful Days at Camping Berghof
A beautifully situated campground on Lake Ossiach.
Many campsites with a view of the lake.
The reception staff is extremely friendly and very patient when helping you choose a site.
Several sanitary facilities, always clean, are spread throughout the park-like grounds.
The campsites are all generously... sized; however, the amenities (water supply/drainage, toilet disposal, and antenna connection) can be a bit of a hassle.
Apart from the grounds maintenance, which could be improved (e.g., overgrown grass), and the electrical boxes that are sometimes difficult to access (outlets and antenna connections just above the grass), there’s nothing to complain about here.
Anyone vacationing here will spend wonderful days in nature with great views of the lake and mountains.
The campground management gives guests a warm and welcoming impression.
We’d love to come back!

A wonderful stay at the Comfort site.
We really liked the campground and felt very comfortable there. The site was large and had everything we needed. The beach and lake are gorgeous, and everything is very well maintained. The restrooms were great and always clean. The staff was very friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

Hele mooie camping gelegen aan het meer. Er is een spar winkel voor aan de camping met een bakker en slager en geruim assortiment. Een restaurant met hele goede pizza's. Je kan ter plaatse eten van de laart of afhalen van pizza's en schnitzel.
Moderne schone toiletten en douches. Mogelijkheid om met de boot over het meer te varen met opstapplaats op de camping. Zelfs mogelijkheid om de auto te wassen. Zeker een aanrader

The Perfect Vacation / Pure Relaxation
All the staff members (**) were very friendly, courteous, and attentive to the guests.

One staff member (I’m deliberately keeping this neutral!) was relatively unfriendly, both toward my wife and toward other waiting guests.

But that was just one person—EVERYONE else is GREAT!

I’m pretty sure the... Berghof management is aware of this person :-) … I think their future at the hotel is pretty limited if they don’t quickly start acting like everyone else.

Oh, and it would be a great idea to actively let guests with dogs know that they need a separate key for the “dog door.” Or maybe you could print that information on the map?

But the dog area only has a small, dirty spot for dogs to swim. What would be so bad about setting aside 10 meters of the large beach for dogs?
Recommended
Very friendly welcome. We got a nice campsite with a view of the lake. It’s just a short walk to the restroom facilities. It’s a large campground, yet very quiet. I’d recommend it, even for travelers passing through on their way to or from Croatia or Italy.
