Perhaps a truck could be found to pick it up here. It was also a shame that the trail on the other side of the road was closed, but of course it wasn't the campsite's fault. There really is nothing to complain about at this wonderful campsite. Whether it's the sanitary facilities, the supermarket, the pitches or the reception. Everything is tip top.
The super nice and competent ladies at the check-in desk deserve special mention,... as they are so friendly, even at short notice, that it's almost scary ;-) This is hospitality as it is written in the book.
The cleaning staff, who ensure the cleanliness of the entire area around the clock, are also super nice and friendly.
In my opinion, there are only 2 things that could be improved.
Point 1:
The sand is getting low at the bathing areas for the kids to dig in, but that should be quite easy to solve.
Point 2: The disposal island could be a bit more structured. Then you wouldn't have to "squeeze past" the glass at the residual waste containers where it can smell a bit stronger on hot days. Basically, better waste separation would not be a bad thing in terms of sustainability.
All in all, I give it 98 out of 100 points.
