A very nice outdoor pool, just a short walk away. A wonderful beer garden. The campsites are quiet even when the park is full. The restroom facilities are top-notch. It’s a short walk to downtown, and there are some very nice bike rides to enjoy.
We felt very comfortable there.

Almost perfect
A campground with nearly perfect facilities. Water and waste disposal are available at each individual campsite. The bread roll delivery service works great.
The restroom facilities are "top-notch." The family bathrooms are especially worth mentioning.
If you’re reasonably mobile, you can easily reach the thermal baths and the sauna courtyard without a car.
The reception staff is also remarkably friendly.
We’d love to come back.

Dear Sir or Madam,

We stayed at your campground in Bad Füssing for a total of 18 days, from July 19 to August 2, 2026. Unfortunately, we must say that our fourth stay there fell far... short of our expectations for a five-star campground.

During our stay, we noticed several issues that, in our view, do not meet the standard one would expect from a five-star campground.

One issue, for example, was the condition of the restroom facilities. Some toilets were clogged, forcing us to use other restrooms. Even on the campground itself, the maintenance did not make a particularly good impression in some areas. In particular, there were noticeable weeds growing around the water and wastewater service stations in some places.

In addition, the rain shower in our unit did not work properly. The sensor in the shower of the indoor sauna was also not working. Especially at a campground of this category, we expect such facilities to be checked regularly and repaired promptly if problems arise. The volume on the TVs installed in several restrooms was too low to make out anything.

Another issue concerns the advertised beer garden next door. It was presented to us as an attractive option for stopping by during our stay. Unfortunately, we were disappointed both by the value for money and by our personal experiences there. We found the prices to be significantly overpriced. One evening, I had a baked potato with sour cream sauce there. The following morning, I developed severe gastrointestinal symptoms with severe diarrhea. Of course, we cannot definitively establish a connection to the meal, but the timing struck us as notable. Based on this experience, we certainly cannot recommend the beer garden.

What was particularly disappointing for us, however, was the check-out process at the front desk.

The first bill did not include the 15 percent discount we were entitled to for the period from July 19 to August 2, 2026. I pointed this out, whereupon the bill was reprinted. Unfortunately, the second bill was still incorrect. I therefore went back to the front desk. Even on the third printout, the discount was still not applied.

What bothered us most about this was not just the billing error, but above all the way it was handled. The male employee I was dealing with offered no apology or indication that he was sorry for the repeated error.

I then asked to speak with the female colleague sitting next to him, as I assumed she might be more familiar with billing procedures. However, the employee told me that she had been working there even less time than he had. I then explicitly stated that I wanted to speak with someone who was familiar with the matter and could prepare the bill correctly. Otherwise, I would like to speak with the manager.

Only then did the colleague step in and say to me, “Ms. Dressler, we can sort this out right now. Come with me.”

She then took care of the matter and finally managed to issue the invoice correctly, properly applying the 15 percent discount and paying out the difference of no less than “75.00” euros in cash. She apologized to me for the inconvenience caused.

In closing, I explicitly told her that I would have liked to have received such an apology from her colleague in the first place. After all, mistakes can happen. What matters to us, however, is how a mistake is handled—especially when the same mistake occurs repeatedly.

They’ve thought of everything. Great restrooms (luxurious and clean). There are plenty of restaurants in the village. The campground itself doesn’t have any. There are takeout spots at the beer hall, though. In warm weather, there isn’t much shade. That was a shame during the hot summer of 2026. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Great
A very nice campground with great facilities. It’s located close to town, so you can easily walk to Bad Füssing. The beer garden is incredibly cozy, and the food is delicious. In fact, there are many good restaurants within walking distance. We’ll definitely be back.

Great
There were three of us, and we were given a very warm welcome. The campsite was good—when it rained, the water drained away quickly, so there were no puddles. The campground is pretty quiet. The washhouse was always clean, and the cleaning staff were always friendly. The food and drinks in the beer garden... were great—there was plenty of variety, and the portions were generous, so you always left feeling full.
We’re extremely satisfied and are looking forward to our next vacation there. Highly recommended.

We were completely satisfied—everything was great. The bathrooms were nice; we'd come back anytime, though next time we'd probably come for a spa treatment.

Pretty good
Overall, the stay was good. HOWEVER, the cleaning times at the restroom facility are very poorly scheduled. Starting at 9 a.m., the restrooms and washrooms were closed. The construction site at the washhouse is inadequately secured—or rather, NOT secured at all.
