After a somewhat daunting journey (access was a bit cramped) we had 4 wonderful days in an intimate atmosphere and in a quiet, tree-covered spot.
I mentioned everything else in the introduction.

You have plenty of space on your chosen pitch.NegativnoIf you want to have the beautiful castle view, you have to walk a long way to the toilet 😉. The waste separation could be better.KatyaI stayed there for 3 nights, was given a very friendly welcome and was allowed to choose my own pitch. I also found the most beautiful view of the castles for me and accepted the longer walk to the toilet and shower.
Everything was very clean and tidy.

Claudia C.april 2025PozitivnoThe location is idyllic, the site is very well maintained and is situated directly on the Neckar.NegativnoWe had nothing to complain about 😊Very nice stay!Very nice operators, you get a friendly welcome, can choose your pitch and your vacation can begin 😊 The pitches are large enough, but not always completely straight. TV reception is limited due to the mountain behind. If you can't get a spot with a view of the water, you can sit on one of the benches... on the meadow directly on the Neckar. Or spread out your blanket there. There is a wonderful view of the river and the Neckarsteinach castles opposite.
To get to the town, you have to walk to the lock to cross the river. It takes about 20 minutes.

The campsite owners are very nice, helpful and solution-oriented, especially during the construction work when problems arise. A bread roll service is offered.

Reception and pitch allocation went really well, very nice people. The only thing I noticed was that the toilets urgently need to be renovated, but I think this will be done soon. And the new showers are nice but not exactly functional. It is difficult to take off your clothes without getting wet because the shower curtain is suboptimal.

We had a view of the Neckar and the 4 castles. A nearby lock is easy to reach on foot or by bike.
We traveled as a couple. The campsite is suitable for children (playground and lots of vehicles for the little ones). We were able to choose our pitch. There is... also a bread roll service.
The shower facilities have just been renovated and the toilets are still to come. Everything is very clean.
All in all, we can say that we liked it there very much and the place is recommendable. The operators are very friendly.
Recommendation: You should really arrive as suggested. The ancient trees are reminiscent of a park; as former Munich residents, we compared it to the English Garden or Nymphenburg Palace Park.
We were simply completely... satisfied, and the service with the fresh rolls was always to our complete satisfaction.
The narrow access road mentioned by many other campers was no problem for us with our caravan and trailer or on our own, as there was very little oncoming traffic, you just have to be able to drive and swerve or back up a little if necessary.
The toilets and shower/washrooms were always extremely clean, it doesn't get any better than that.
We would like to thank the Seegardl family once again for the pleasant stay and wish them all the best for the future.
