We booked spontaneously on the way and were allowed to choose a pitch. Heidelberg is easy to reach from there. Either by public transport or boat (expensive) from Neckarstsinach or by car. You can park cheaply and centrally in Heidelberg in the Q -Park. At least... during the week.
The sanitary facilities have been renovated and are clean. There was a lounge with a pool table.

We had a barbecue and drinks for the party. When it got dark, a great firework display started at around 10pm. The campsite has newly renovated toilets and a new washroom.
These were kept clean every day by a member of staff.

The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Everything is very well organized. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. We had a rainy week and had to wait for a dry moment to do the dishes. The toilets, washbasins and showers were clean, but all around could be cleaned more, e.g. cobwebs in the toilets.Very relaxing stay....A beautiful site in a great location. Even if a pitch is still under construction, it should be possible to hide garbage containers and green waste behind a fence.
