No beer in the vending machine.Was very niceIt would be advantageous to install sound-absorbing panels on the ceiling in the toilet cubicle. E.g. Basotect. These would absorb the sound from the fan.
Otherwise, a stop line at the barrier would be an advantage so that the camera can better recognize the license plate. We had 2 very nice nights there, a great place to cool off a bit in the heat. The river makes it nice and cool in the evenings, there's plenty of shade and there's always a little breeze. There was a small fruit and vegetable sale on Saturday afternoon, which was also great.

It closes at 6 pm, which is quite early.Beautiful placeA beautiful site with lots of shady trees and pitches with plenty of space to spread out. And in the middle of nature and of course on the Neckar. Still close to places with restaurants, excursion destinations and lots of hiking opportunities. If you're not looking for the big campsites with lots of... fun and yet a good infrastructure, this is the place for you. Very nice hosts and friendly staff. The sanitary facilities are new and top notch, they are cleaned several times a day. We felt very comfortable. Sometimes there is too much gravel or too many places on the meadow with only earth.Quiet campsiteWe had a few relaxing days despite the occasional rain. The area is ideal for hiking and also offers some good places to stop for a bite to eat.

Perfect for a few days of relaxation and sigtseeing around the Rhine-Neckar region.NegatiivisetThere is no small camp kitchen for cyclists with tents. Lounge is not sufficient in bad weather. Water connections for drinking water are associated with long distances.Nice place without a lot of frillsThe site is beautifully situated and natural without being untidy. The owners have done an amazing job in the last 2 years. The pitches are tidy and the sanitary facilities are very nice. A little gadget is the birdsong in the toilet. Showers are very clean and everyone (hopefully) sticks to taking their... slippers off outside the door. There are enough sinks for the dishes, electricity is charged according to actual consumption. The bread roll service is also great - either at reception or via app (for Appel 😚 and Android). Wi-Fi is only available at the front but that's perfectly fine.
Suggestions for improvement:
More hooks would be helpful in the sanitary room, e.g. next to the lower sockets and for short-sighted people (like me) a mirror at the front would be helpful as the visibility is limited and you don't have to "stick" your nose to the shower door.

The owners and all the staff are very, very nice and courteous.
Our only criticism is the shower curtains as splash protection for the clothing in the shower cubicles.... The air cannot circulate, so they stick together - not in keeping with today's hygiene standards. Sanitary always top clean, even with full occupancy.

However, there is only a narrow access road, which is not a major problem.
By bike you are directly connected to the Neckar cycle path and can cycle up to Dildburg Castle, explore the Neckar upstream or you can quickly reach Heidelberg and the... Rhine Valley.
The campsite operator is extremely friendly and accommodating. Together with him, the pitch is determined during a personal inspection by mutual agreement.
There is an electricity meter for each pitch and the actual consumption is billed.
Personally, I think it's good that the water consumption in the shower is reduced by your own behavior.
So if you are looking for a campsite in the Heidelberg region that is also a really nice place for tents, this is the place for you.Käännetty automaattisesti.

Although it recognizes the cassette reliably, it left quite a mess on the outside of our cassette and unfortunately didn't really empty the cassette.Camping once uncomplicatedThe site is very nice, somewhat hidden, but right on the Neckar.
If you arrive early, the pitch is selected together with the site owner during a short inspection. Simply perfect!
One day there was a direct fruit and vegetable sale on site - a great idea, in our opinion.
Approx. 1 hour by bike to Heidelberg... via often perfect cycle paths.
