During our current visit, we were impressed by the perfect toilet and washroom facilities, the gravel paths, the well-planned organization, the engaging friendliness and the beautiful landscape. The site is in a very quiet location on the Neckar, you can hire bikes for excursions or walk about 20 minutes to the SBahn to go to Heidelberg, for example. The immediate surroundings are also great for walking... and hiking.
The campsite seems to be used by a mixture of regular guests and day travelers, the atmosphere was very friendly.

We were able to make beautiful cycling and hiking tours from here. The reception also has drinks and small meals. The site is generally very clean and the groundsman makes a lot of effort. Can be reached in 15 minutes on foot via the lock.
As the access road is single-lane (but not narrow), there are hardly any huge motorhomes here.
Ideal for cyclists.

The pitches are large, with sufficient distance to the neighbors. The sanitary facilities are modern and well maintained. Fijn dat we zelf een plek mochten uitkiezen met prachtig uitzicht op rivier, dorp en kastelen. Voorzieningen zijn prima. En ook nog eens vlakbij het prachtige Heidelberg. Great view of the Neckar.MinusuriIf you want to, you can always find something. But be that as it may - there were stinging nettles knee-high on our pitch - you should mow here more often.Very nice placeThe sanitary facilities are new but look a bit like a shell from the outside. But the main thing is the inner values and they are top. With these facilities, the price is a real bargain. The operators - very friendly! Good starting point for excursions - e.g. Heidelberg is only 13 km away (by car or bike). Sanitary facilities - new and very clean! With bread service!MinusuriIn modern shower cubicles, there are shower curtains to protect clothes from getting wet. Personally, I would suggest a fixed partition as an alternative (if this is feasible!). The shower curtains are already unsightly at the bottom. That's my only criticism. Otherwise everything is tiptop!Nice and quiet location. The operators are very friendly.The location, directly on the Neckar, is beautiful and quiet. The site is well-kept and clean and the operators are very friendly. There is a bread roll service with a good selection of tasty rolls. The sanitary facilities are new and well maintained (I would only consider a different solution for the... shower curtains in the cabins - but that is the only point of criticism). Very clean sanitary facilities. I was able to choose a pitch, the pitches are all very spacious and are shaded by old trees. But people who like more sun are also well catered for.
Very quiet ambience and even if I didn't need it (this time): there is a covered... terrace and a large lounge! Certainly good for the (cycle) hikers among us. The tent meadow also looked great. There is seating all over the site with a view of the Neckar.
In the village on the other side there are public transport connections and shopping facilities. About 25 minutes on foot.
