The sanitary facilities look outdated from the outside but are first class on the inside. The operators are courteous and friendly. We were able to choose our own pitch....
Toilet disposal by super machine. Cleans inside and out.
Quiet place for people who don't mind the "holy noise" (church bells) during the day. Really nice to relax.
Heidelberg is a 10-minute walk and train ride away.
We will gladly come again.

Public transport (e.g. to HD) is within walking distance.MinusuriOverall makes a somewhat untidy and outdated impression. Plots partly very unkempt (high grass, high weeds). Shower cubicles very narrow and separated from the drying area by a shower curtain (was torn), resulting in wet clothes. No storage facilities in the toilets, which is particularly annoying after showering. Approach about 1 km adventurous if someone comes with a vehicle.Very nice on the whole, but.......All in all a nice location, very quiet and relatively spacious. The public transport, e.g. to Heidelberg, is within walking distance, upstream via the lock to Neckarsteinach. Beautiful walks or bike rides along the Neckar possible. However, the place itself made an outdated and partly unkempt impression.... Plots were full of tall weeds. The reception is also getting on in years. There is a bread roll service but no catering. Electricity and showers have to be paid for separately, which for such a site cost us €32/night (camper van/2 people), which we found relatively high for the low season. The sanitary facilities are relatively new and very clean. However, we thought the shower cubicles were very small. The drying area within the cubicles was separated by a simple shower curtain. This was somewhat torn at the time of our visit. Clothes also got wet. Toilets modern, clean and with birdsong.
Please note: when you enter the toilets from the shower, for example, we would have liked more shelf space instead of perhaps an ultra-modern tap with an integrated and heated hot air blower. Flushing stations outside the sanitary building. Still looked like a building site at the time of our visit. But all in all a nice place with everything you need and very friendly operators/employees. Since the site is supposed to be in its 2nd season in 2025, it is probably being rebuilt and renovated bit by bit. During our current visit, we were impressed by the perfect toilet and washroom facilities, the gravel paths, the well-planned organization, the engaging friendliness and the beautiful landscape. The site is in a very quiet location on the Neckar, you can hire bikes for excursions or walk about 20 minutes to the SBahn to go to Heidelberg, for example. The immediate surroundings are also great for walking... and hiking.
The campsite seems to be used by a mixture of regular guests and day travelers, the atmosphere was very friendly.

As the access road is single-lane (but not narrow), there are hardly any huge motorhomes here.

But the main thing is the inner values and they are top. With these facilities, the price is a real bargain. The operators - very friendly! Good starting point for excursions - e.g. Heidelberg is only 13 km away (by car or bike). Sanitary facilities - new and very clean! With bread service!MinusuriIn modern shower cubicles, there are shower curtains to protect clothes from getting wet. Personally, I would suggest a fixed partition as an alternative (if this is feasible!). The shower curtains are already unsightly at the bottom. That's my only criticism. Otherwise everything is tiptop!Nice and quiet location. The operators are very friendly.The location, directly on the Neckar, is beautiful and quiet. The site is well-kept and clean and the operators are very friendly. There is a bread roll service with a good selection of tasty rolls. The sanitary facilities are new and well maintained (I would only consider a different solution for the... shower curtains in the cabins - but that is the only point of criticism).
