Very nice campsite
We liked it very much and are planning to come back in summer 2026.
Very friendly welcome and good and friendly support with questions.
Our little dog also felt very comfortable and looked after.
We did not rate the points 'leisure time', 'meals' and 'condition of the rental accommodation' in the questionnaire as we did not make use of them due to a lack of time or interest.

Great location on the banks of the Neckar View of 4 castles and the old town Quiet, as the main road running opposite road runs behind the houses on the behind the houses on the bank Perfect for a trip to Heidelberg, S-Bahn within walking distance or by bike, the cycle path leads directly past the site. Weekend stay under the Dilsberg
We felt very comfortable at the campsite. We were given a friendly welcome and were able to choose our own tent pitch on the meadow. The view is of course fantastic. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the restaurants on the opposite side of the Neckar. Definitely worth a walk. We will definitely be back.

Die Lage ist wirklich wunderschön – direkt am Neckar, mit tollem Blick auf den Fluss und die umliegenden Orte. Die Umgebung ist sehr grün, ruhig und ideal zum Entspannen.
Negativa
Der einzige Punkt, den ich anmerken möchte, betrifft die Duschen. Selbst wenn man die Temperatur komplett auf warm gestellt hat, wurde das Wasser leider nicht richtig heiß. Es war nicht kalt, eher angenehm warm, aber gerade an kalten Tagen hätte eine wirklich heiße Dusche den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht.

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Ich kam mit dem Zelt an und konnte meinen Platz frei wählen, was ich als sehr angenehm empfunden habe. Außerdem wurde mir unkompliziert Strom zur Verfügung gestellt.

Auch die Infrastruktur ist gut: Man kann Kaffee kaufen, morgens Brötchen für den nächsten Tag bestellen,... es gibt Eis und einen Aufenthaltsraum mit Billardtisch sowie einem Kamin, wo man sich an kälteren Tagen wunderbar aufwärmen kann.

Für Dusche und Sanitäranlagen bekommt man eine Karte. Damit kann man das Wasser aktivieren, was ich grundsätzlich sehr sinnvoll finde, da es Wasser spart und umweltfreundlich ist. Positiv ist auch, dass man die Temperatur selbst einstellen kann.

Der einzige Punkt, den ich anmerken möchte, betrifft die Duschen. Selbst wenn man die Temperatur komplett auf warm gestellt hat, wurde das Wasser leider nicht richtig heiß. Es war nicht kalt, eher angenehm warm, aber gerade an kalten Tagen hätte eine wirklich heiße Dusche den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht.

Ich hatte das bereits am ersten Tag angesprochen. Mir wurde gesagt, das Wasser sei bereits auf 55 Grad eingestellt. Nach meinem persönlichen Empfinden kam diese Wärme jedoch in der Dusche nicht an, denn das Wasser fühlte sich weiterhin nur lauwarm bis warm an und nicht wirklich heiß.

Trotzdem insgesamt ein sehr schöner, gepflegter und gut organisierter Platz mit toller Atmosphäre, den ich gerne weiterempfehlen kann.

Not an immediate downside, there is no restaurant. However, you can find restaurants across the street (walking through the lock). Sandwiches can be ordered for the next day.

Camping under the Dilsberg
Very nice campsite right on the Neckar. The old trees break up the site and provide pleasant shade. The sanitary facilities are modern and completely renovated - relaxation is guaranteed here 😊
The tenants Sabine and Markus Seegartl are extremely friendly, well organized and always ready to help.

Good place that will get even better!
We visited the site for the first time over the Easter holidays (and spoiler: we booked again for the long weekend in May).
We could now dig up two or three negative aspects for the evaluation, which definitely exist, but which are not decisive for us for a visit.
It is much more obvious on the site... that the Seegardel family has done a lot to create a little paradise here since they took over four years ago.
Brand-new sanitary building (with underfloor heating!), new playground for the kids, board games to borrow, recreation room, bread roll service, Kettcars, barrier with license plate scanning, lockers, sunbathing lawn directly on the Neckar, etc...
The location is perfect for outdoor activities: hiking, running, walking, cycling, canoeing on the Neckar: open the caravan door and off you go!
From 13.00 to 15.00 is midday rest - during this time no entry and exit is possible.

The public transportation was on the other side of the river within 20 minutes walking distance to explore Heidelberg. The bread roll service was easy and of course delicious. We will definitely be back with a little more time.

It was nice
We only stayed at the campsite for one night. The campsite has new and very clean sanitary facilities. We were greeted by a very nice and helpful member of staff at reception. All in all, we were very satisfied and are already looking forward to our next stay at this campsite.

The site is only accessible via a "one-lane road", but this is not a problem thanks to the operator's arrival and departure management. The sanitary facilities look outdated from the outside but are first class on the inside. The operators are courteous and friendly. We were able to choose our own pitch....
Toilet disposal by super machine. Cleans inside and out.
Quiet place for people who don't mind the "holy noise" (church bells) during the day. Really nice to relax.
Heidelberg is a 10-minute walk and train ride away.
We will gladly come again.
