Right from check-in, we were greeted incredibly warmly and given great advice. We immediately felt welcome and in good hands.
The entire campground made a great impression on us: beautiful and well-maintained campsites, very tidy, and... above all, truly clean restrooms and showers. Everything looked very well-maintained and well-organized.
We were there as a couple with our car and tent and had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Booking in advance was also hassle-free, and we felt the value for money was absolutely right for us.
The campground also seems like a really nice spot for families—we immediately noticed the huge playground. 😊
We simply felt very comfortable and were truly more than satisfied. One thing is certain for us: We’ll definitely be back—and next time, probably not alone! 🏕️❤️

The showers are set for 6 minutes, which is certainly enough time. The timer continues to run even after you leave the shower; if someone who isn’t aware of this comes in to shower and doesn’t... pay attention to the remaining time, they might find themselves standing there covered in soap when the water suddenly runs out. It would be helpful to receive this information upon arrival.

Very pleasant in the shade when it’s really hot. Short walk to the restrooms and bistro. Cleanliness was excellent. Good food selection at the bistro = self-service. The beach on Lake Müritz was fantastic. The bike path to Waren or Müritz National Park was very scenic. B. M.avgust 2026Top CampgroundThe Ecktannen Campground is beautifully situated on Lake Müritz. The deluxe sites are spacious enough. The restroom facilities are constantly cleaned by very friendly and hardworking staff. What the staff often find in the showers and restrooms borders on disrespect. Everyone can follow the rules and... take a moment to check if everything is in order. Some vacationers behave like vandals.
Since it was summer vacation, it was very noisy, but that’s to be expected when there are lots of kids around.
We were given a very warm welcome and an equally friendly send-off. We’d love to come back.
