Plenty of electrical outlets, a private beach, a bread roll delivery service, and friendly staffNegativaThe site is partly sandy and, in some areas, very shady; you have to search for fresh water; be sure to bring insect repellent— flies can be a real nuisanceUrlaug from June 2 to June 9, 2026We stayed at the campground from June 2 to June 9, 2026. The campground has few designated sites; otherwise, you just find a spot and set up there. This was new and a bit unusual for us, but it has the advantage of giving you more space than a marked-off plot, since the other campers prefer to keep a... bit more distance. The site is partly grass with many sandy areas, which means you end up tracking sand into the trailer. The restroom facilities are partly new, but very well-maintained and clean. A cleaning staff member is on site all day, so you can be sure to find a freshly cleaned toilet and shower at any time. We haven’t experienced that at any other campground yet. The kiosk doesn’t open until 8:00 a.m., but it has fresh rolls and everything else a camper might need. The bistro is self-service; we got pizza there twice, which was okay for the price. The campground is located outside the city but is easily accessible by bike (about 4 km). The bus stop is about 200 meters from the campground, and there are plenty of parking spots and restaurants at the harbor/Müritzeum. Very nice reception at the Rezi.
Especially that you can be a bit louder at Whitsun, because everyone... is in a good mood at the opening of the season and also wants to celebrate...:) I know it differently.
It's a shame that the Strandperle is closed, I praised it to my friends as a bar with a great view (but that's not their fault).
Nice bathing area with sunbathing lawn.
If the prices remain stable, we will gladly come back.
