The Müritz National Park begins right at the campground, and the town of Waren isn’t far away.
We went on some great bike rides and took a boat tour.
The three-night late-summer special was a great deal, and the rental pool was the icing on the cake.
We had a wonderful three days and will definitely be back.

I especially appreciate that there are accessible restrooms and showers—unfortunately, that’s still not a given at campsites. The campground’s close proximity to Lake Müritz is also great—you can see it from many of the campsites. There’s plenty to do in the immediate area. Plenty of space in this area. Very well-maintained site, as are the restrooms. A short bike ride into town on bike paths. Great Wi-Fi reception.
The only thing was that the power boxes were a bit far away in some spots. Our stay from September 12 to September 20, 2026, was thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing. We felt right at home from the very beginning.
The well-maintained and clean restroom facilities deserve special mention. The prices for washing and drying were also fair... and reasonable. There’s a small snack bar on site for when you’re feeling a little peckish.
The staff was friendly and helpful, so we always felt welcome. We also really liked the location: there are plenty of sights to see in the surrounding area, all of which are easily accessible by bike.
