The small convenience store carries the essentials, and you can buy fresh rolls every morning (not bakery quality, but perfectly adequate). The great laundry facility deserves special mention, and we also really liked the bistro. The kids are well taken care of with the large playground and the play area. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly!! The restrooms and showers were all very clean, and there were washing machines available. They even took great care to accommodate pets,... such as dogs. A playground and even a vet in case of an emergency. Mini-golf, etc. What we really appreciated was the bus ticket included in the booking. The bus stops right at the old harbor, and we had plenty of time to spend a lovely day there. All in all, fantastic!! We’d love to come back. We were very satisfied with the prices. The freedom to choose your own spot caters to a variety of preferences, ranging from very quiet and somewhat secluded areas to lively spots near restrooms or snack bars. The restroom facilities were spotless; the staff took great care to keep them clean, and any issues were resolved... immediately. There isn’t an excessive number of rules with signs at every corner, which is very refreshing. The campground is ideal for children—they have plenty of space and can participate in a varied children’s program every day. The bike routes to the city are excellent.
