Whether you’re on a designated site or just set up wherever you like, this campground is a great choice. The proximity to the lake and the national park is fantastic. The Müritz National Park begins right at the campground, and the town of Waren isn’t far away.
We went on some great bike rides and took a boat tour.
The three-night late-summer special was a great deal, and the rental pool was the icing on the cake.
We had a wonderful three days and will definitely be back.

I especially appreciate that there are accessible restrooms and showers—unfortunately, that’s still not a given at campsites. The campground’s close proximity to Lake Müritz is also great—you can see it from many of the campsites. There’s plenty to do in the immediate area. Plenty of space in this area. Very well-maintained site, as are the restrooms. A short bike ride into town on bike paths. Great Wi-Fi reception.
