Whether with a tent, in a barrel, natural wagon or hut, I've had it all. Whether for a weekend or 2 weeks, it was always great. One star less because, if you have known the place for so long, it unfortunately becomes more and more impersonal, e.g. service, that... many drinks are sold out because there is no capacity to store them. If you are constantly expanding, you should also adapt. There used to be endless vacation games for the children.
(Indian festivals with a huge tent and stick bread in the evening etc.)
But we will still come again, maybe a little suggestion to reintroduce something like that.

I have been a regular visitor to campsites for six years and have gotten to know many facilities. The journey to the Eifel-Camp was well described and the information in the previous correspondence was helpful. At first glance I was impressed by the site, but unfortunately this... enthusiasm did not last long.
Unfortunately, I initially found my way to the wrong pitch (04 instead of 040) due to a misinterpretation of the signage. That was my mistake. My partner and I went to the registration desk together, as the pitch was obviously occupied. The lady at the registration desk seemed unusually indignant about my mistake and presented the procedure to us as a matter of course. The route was then explained to us in detail.
We then arrived at the right place and found that the area for pitching the tent was marked by sharp stones; in my opinion, the site was unsuitable for tents. The anchoring of our tent could not be fixed to the ground - something I have never experienced before. We wanted to go to reception afterwards to ask for an alternative pitch or other eyelets for the tent. Unfortunately, reception is only open until 16:00 on Sundays.
Neighbors kindly lent us some screws for the tent. We put a thick tarpaulin under the tent, but the stones were so sharp that we now have a hole in the tent floor. It is unclear who will pay for the damage. It's no fun like this! You couldn't enter the tent with a clear conscience. The couple on the other pitch had the same problem. I wonder how you can rent out the pitch for tents like that. After these incidents and the lack of staff on site to speak to, we decided to leave on Tuesday afternoon. Other campers told us about overflowing toilets and similar problems.
I also found the following problematic: a couple left and the cleaning team was visible at work. How can it be that you pay 35 euros for cleaning and the cleaning work only takes a few minutes (5 minutes) without thorough cleaning of the toilet, shower, washbasin? Especially when the cleaner only worked with a cloth.
On a positive note, the site has a nice basic idea, the pitches are large enough and the surroundings are fantastic. Nevertheless, I would like the service to improve and the guests to be looked after better. In difficult times, good service is all the more important, and there is a need for action here.
Regarding transparency: In hindsight, the bill for electricity consumption seemed questionable to me. Yes, it's only 50 cents, but it would be helpful to be shown the actual consumption.
In addition, I don't think it makes sense to leave a registration unattended for two days. Many campers felt left alone and didn't know who to turn to. A continuous or at least more accessible contact person practice would be desirable, especially during peak times or at weekends.
PS: Who will pay for the damage I have suffered?

The pitch with the sanitary and kitchen area is great and meets all our needs.
Unfortunately, we couldn't see any pictures in advance. The reception was very friendly and helpful as our license plate recognition didn't work.
It was pleasantly quiet over the days and we... were very satisfied with everything.

When I arrived at the sanitary... building early in the evening with a high noodle, I had to wake up in an unpleasant surprise. De informatie email was beland in de spambox, en en na het scannen van de QR code bij deur wilde het gastenportaal überhaupt niet laden, dus heb ik nieteens kunnen probernen in te loggen, om vervolgens bij mijn code te komen, om dan naar de WC te kunnen.
This process is not (clearly) described on the website, and because the booking process was not completed in the following night, I could not prepare for it here.
This complicated process caused me a lot of stress, which is not acceptable for the cost of this camping.
Misschien was het beter gegaan als ik vooraf bedacht had toegang tot de WLAN te kopen (hoewel mijn roaming voor alle anderen smartphone activiteiten toereikend was), maar wanneer het gebruik daarvan vrijwel vereist is om toegang tot de WC's te krijgen, zou dit bij de boekingsprijs inbegrepen moeten zijn.

I was left inside the sanitary building one night when someone else came outside. However, everything was still pleasant and comfortable.
Conclusion; if you want guests to be able to register online at the moment of arrival at night, then the information should be better, faster and more direct.
Someone on doorstep who arrives late and leaves earlier cannot speak to anyone in person to get help.

There was a permanent lack of soap in the sanitary facilities. Some of the shower heads in the showers were missing or defective. It shouldn't be a problem to rectify such problems at short notice.Automaticky preložené.
