Great area for hiking. Nideggen is within easy walking distance. Train station in 5min for all other destinations. Top sanitary facilities. And then this mega friendly always ready to tackle staff. However, you can get used to it; the bad habit of charging shower coins and electricity consumption is widespread in German campsites and the criticism of this is therefore by no means limited to this site (quite simply: in a vacation apartment, electricity consumption and shower duration are not regulated either; the prices of campsites are now at a similar level..."Convenient" location - yet a great placeOverall a very pleasant and enjoyable stay at a wonderfully located campsite. The reception was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The pitches on the Rur are of course fantastic.

We... understand that the Rur Valley Railway, which runs through the middle of the campsite, can take some getting used to, and the shower token and electricity consumption system is indeed a common practice at many German campsites. It is important to us to offer a fair price-performance ratio and to create a pleasant atmosphere for all guests.
