Senior Software Engineer / Full-Stack Developer (m/f/d)

Location: Remote / Hybrid (e.g., Berlin, Gütersloh)

Camping.info is one of Europe’s leading platforms for camping vacations. To further develop our platform technologically and accelerate our development cycles, we’re looking for an experienced and results-oriented Senior Software Engineer / Full-Stack Developer (m/f/d). You’ll dive deep into the code, drive our architecture forward, and leverage cutting-edge AI and agentic coding workflows to take the entire team to the next level.

Your Responsibilities

• Development & Agentic Coding: Your core responsibility is active development (Python, Django, Nuxt, Vue.js). You’ll use cutting-edge AI tools and agentic coding workflows to develop more efficiently and embed these practices within the team.
• LMA (Lead, Manage, Accountability) & Mentoring: You’ll serve as a technical role model, mentor your colleagues on complex issues, and take full responsibility for the systems and features you oversee, as well as for achieving the tech department’s goals.
• Product & AI Features: You play a key role in the technical implementation of our roadmap, ensure code quality through reviews, and evaluate the use of AI features directly within our platform.
• Servers, Hosting & DevOps: You’ll help scale and optimize our infrastructure. We rely on Google Cloud (Kubernetes), AWS, and Cloudflare.
• Interfaces & Security: You’ll develop clean, high-performance APIs for external partners and help continuously improve our IT security standards and best practices.

What You Bring to the Table

• Tech Stack & Infrastructure: Extensive, long-term full-stack experience with Python, Django, Nuxt, and Vue.js, as well as in-depth practical knowledge of Elasticsearch or OpenSearch. When it comes to infrastructure, you’re well-versed in Google Cloud, AWS, and Cloudflare. You’re already an enthusiastic user of Agentic Coding and AI development tools in your day-to-day work.
• Experience & Mentoring: Several years of professional experience as a Senior Developer, Software Engineer, or in a comparable role, ideally with some experience mentoring developers.
• Ownership: You take full responsibility for your code, your projects, and your technical decisions.
• Get-Things-Done Mentality: You’re pragmatic, extremely solution-oriented, and get things done quickly and efficiently.
• Brutally Honest: You address challenges, mistakes, and feedback head-on. For you, radical transparency is the foundation for building strong trust and learning quickly.
• Team Player: You work as an equal, actively support your team, and always prioritize collective success over your own ego.
• Excellent German and English language skills.
