The owners are very friendly and the atmosphere is very friendly. We can recommend it.
A big disadvantage, however, is the railroad which crosses the campsite and divides it in two. From 6 a.m. trains constantly drive 'over' the campsite... with loud honking. The part where we were camping was only accessible via a railroad crossing, which was manually operated by the owner and almost always closed. When you arrived, you just had to hope that someone would see you and open the barrier.
This caused some frustration and impatience.
So the campground does come highly recommended, but make sure you are on the right side of the railroad tracks.Automatski prevedeno.

It is very difficult to get local dishes. Pizza, gyros, chips, etc. are everywhere. Even Indian dishes with beef, although the beef is "secret". Either way, it wasn't easy to find a local restaurant offering the food of your homeland. As an "old... camper", I was very surprised when neighbors arrived with their own caravan, set up next to me and didn't manage to say "Good morning or good afternoon" once. But I don't want to attribute that to the campsite. It's becoming more and more "anonymous". Neighborhoods and mutual help have become less interesting.
Okay so far, you asked me. Surely that's no reproach to you as a team, because you have little influence on that.
So thank you, I felt very comfortable during my stay and would definitely recommend you to others.

That really lightened the mood and excitement for us, as it was our first camping vacation with a camper van.
We received a very warm welcome from the owners and everything was explained to us very well and the staff were always friendly. The sanitary facilities were very clean.... We had a great pitch with a view of Nideggen Castle. The dog friendliness is also highly recommended because dogs are allowed there, it is not always so easy for owners of listed dogs like us to find something, because they are not wanted everywhere. Wir bedauern, dass die Grünarbeiten am Morgen Dich geweckt haben - wir nehmen Dein Feedback ernst und werden darauf achten, dass solche Situationen möglichst selten auftreten.
Es ist schön zu hören, dass Du den tollen Ausblick auf die Nideggener Burg, den gepflegten Zustand des Campingplatzes sowie unser Restaurant und die vorbei fließende Rur als besondere Erlebnisse empfunden hast. Dass die klassischen Erwartungen wie saubere Sanitäranlagen und Herdplatten erfüllt wurden, ist für uns selbstverständlich, damit Du Deinen Aufenthalt rundum genießen kannst.

The facilities are great, the staff super friendly and helpful, the food and drinks in the Hetzinger Stüffgen were very tasty. We started the day well with bread rolls from the self-service market and finished it with wine. We also got to know some nice neighbors.
