Very nicely located pitch, directly on the Rur, pure cooling, even for our dog.
Toilets and showers always clean and modern and easy to reach.
Unfortunately, shower coins are required for showering, which takes 5 minutes.
If you... want to shower for longer, you have to get out of the shower cubicle in between and throw coins in, which is not nice, especially when you are wet.
Unfortunately, you can't insert 2 coins.
Basically it's okay with coins, but you should run for more than 5 minutes for 80 cents.
From here you can quickly walk or drive to hikes or MTB tours in the national park and then go on wonderful tours and enjoy nature.
Long walks with the dog are also easy.
The Rursee is a short distance away, but is easy to cycle to.
At the weekend, the site is very busy with short-stay campers.

Topic touch down etc . Larger vehicles can have problems. No problem at all with small vehicles.Very nice CPA beautiful CP, unspoiled, good shopping facilities, nice operators and people who work there, very helpful. Beautiful hiking opportunities, you have a view of the castle or the green hills everywhere. Delicious restaurant on site, reasonable prices. Café on site, and small self-service store for the... essentials. Supermarkets within easy reach, about 3km away. In the store you can only pay in cash, you can get cash at the reception. Zu Deiner Anmerkung zu den "Huckeln" auf zwischen einigen... Plätzen möchten wir darauf hinweisen, dass unser Campingplatz im Mittelgebirge Eifel liegt und teilweise terrassierte Stellplätze hat. Um Dir das jedoch Einparken so einfach wie möglich zu machen, begleiten wir unsere anreisenden Gäste gerne direkt zum Platz und unterstützen beim Einrichten.
Wir freuen uns, dass Ihr Euch mit Hund bei uns wohlgefühlt habt und hoffen, Euch bald wieder bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen.

Everyone is on first-name terms, which creates a family feeling. Although it was our first time there, we immediately felt like we were part of a community. The site is well-kept and clean and the staff are very friendly. There was nothing missing in our rented trailerNegatívumokThere's not really anything negative to report. The barrier times at the level crossing take away a bit of the feeling of freedom, especially if you are out and about during the day and only return after 6 p.m., the car has to stay outside. You survive it, but of course it would be nicer if there was another way of doing it.Uncomplicated oasis of peaceWe stayed at the campsite from Tuesday to Friday and had a great time all round. The quiet and relaxed atmosphere is particularly noteworthy - ideal for getting away from it all and really switching off.
One thing we noticed straight away was that people are on first-name terms on the site. This immediately... creates a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere and conveys the feeling of being part of a small community - uncomplicated and warm.
The campsite itself was very well-kept. The sanitary facilities were clean, modern and cleaned regularly - you immediately feel at home. The staff were also extremely friendly, helpful and always approachable, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
The restaurant on site was a real highlight - everything was just right here: quality, taste and atmosphere. Absolutely recommendable!
Our rented trailer was thoughtfully furnished, very clean and cozy. We wanted for nothing - perfect for anyone who wants to experience camping in a different way.
There were several leisure activities in the immediate vicinity, which we were informed about directly at reception and again via the very well-designed app. Some of the costs are covered by the campsite. We were happy to take advantage of these offers and experienced some unforgettable moments.

We wanted to see if it was really as great as all the other campers had written. And what can I say, it really was that great. The location right next to the Eifel National Park is sensational.
