It was always clean, and the ladies do a fantastic job while still being friendly and kind. The program for the little ones is great, too. My daughter has been raving about the magician for three years, and she was finally brave enough to join in and do some magic herself.Olumsuz yanlarıIt’s a shame that people ride their bikes, drive their cars, and ride their scooters way too fast across the square. A few signs indicating walking speed would be nice. Unfortunately, it’s no longer possible to let the kids run around without worry. It was also a shame that the vending machine was broken right away and wasn’t repaired... But that doesn’t warrant a deduction... These things happen.Thanks for the wonderful time!I've already written all of this above.

Daily arts and crafts activities for the kids The restroom facilities are great and always clean. There are plenty of toilets and showers available.Olumsuz yanlarıPerhaps it would be possible to set up another restroom further down by the lake. The walk is quite a distance for children when nature calls.An all-around great spot right on the lakeWe (two parents with two children, ages 5 and 7) are simply thrilled with this place. Some spots have natural shade from trees. The sunbathing area is great, and the water is crystal clear. There’s a small beach, and the shoreline is shallow and sandy—perfect for the kids. There’s also a separate access... point to the lake for stand-up paddleboards.
The children’s activities are organized with great care but aren’t pushy. The kids loved the arts-and-crafts sessions and the train rides around the campground.
The restrooms were cleaned constantly and were always spotless. We’ve rarely experienced such high standards.
You can tell the campground is run with love.
We had a wonderful time here, and nothing was missing.

But quite pricey!)—other than that, there’s no restaurant or pizza place. - It’s nice that the owners enforce the rules, but sometimes they go a bit too far: You’re allowed to park in the lot in front of the campground for 20 minutes; we were there for about 7 minutes to ask something at the front desk, but a short while later, someone else from the campground called to ask if that was our car in the parking lot… - No soccer field, though there are sports facilities across the street; however, we didn’t want to let our children cross the street alone - Very small and pricey campground store (there’s a Spar 100 meters away next to the campground)Beautiful campground, fantastic views, clean and friendly staffHighly recommended!! A fantastic spot by the beautiful blue sea. We had site 90 with a lovely view, and we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious our site was—we’d expected it to be smaller.
We’ve also visited other campgrounds by the lake during different vacation periods, but this one was definitely the most beautiful.

A friendly campground with clean restroom facilities and standard amenities. You can’t hear any traffic north of the buildings.Olumsuz yanlarıThe lack of air conditioning controls makes a restful night’s sleep unlikely. Traffic noise is clearly audible, unless you’re staying on the north side of the buildings. The parking spaces are a bit small; after all, we’re not in France.A pleasant campground with a few minor flawsThe Mentl Campground is located on Lake Ossiach and is ideally situated in Carinthia for day trips. Many destinations are less than 30 minutes away by car, and some are just 5–10 minutes away. The campground is very clean and offers plenty of restrooms, sinks, and washing machines. The lake itself is... fantastic—both in terms of water temperature and the view. The campsites are, as is often the case in Austria, on the small side. While they offer enough space for a large RV and a car, that’s about it. The neighbor’s property borders directly on yours. That’s not a problem in itself, but it does mean you can hear the neighbors more clearly. In this increasingly warm climate, some neighbors have air conditioners. Here’s the problem: While there’s a quiet hours policy from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., nowhere does it state that air conditioners must be turned off during this time. Tents and RVs are parked close together, so in the worst-case scenario, you might be kept awake all night by the noise of an air conditioner. I recommend adding the following to the regulations: Turn off air conditioners during quiet hours, or designate “air conditioner zones” along the road where it’s already noisy due to traffic. Finally, a brief note about the barbecue area: Although it’s located across the street, it offers no view, is in direct sunlight, and is far from the restrooms.
