Elke L.september 2025PositivaThe campsite is right on the lake. The sanitary facilities were always clean. Reviews are taken seriously. For example, when we were on the campsite shortly before the end of the season, some of the toilets and showers were already closed, which led to congestion at peak times. When I brought this up at reception, one more toilet and shower was opened immediately. We left a day early due to rain and didn't have to pay for this day despite booking. There is a bread roll service on advance booking and a small store with the essentials.NegativaWe have not found any.Nice little campsiteBeautiful campsite. The lake was still a pleasant temperature for swimming at the end of September. The surrounding area is great for cycling. But that's not the CP's faultIt's like coming homeWe've been here several times now and it's like coming home. Mrs. Lauritsch and everyone else are really nice! We feel very comfortable here (although-see disadvantages). It was a bit of a shame that not all the showers were open. Everything is tiptop and clean and very quiet at night! The lake is a... dream, wonderful for swimming or SUP. With the e-bike you are in Villach in about 30 minutes and it is also possible to get to Faaker See. The surrounding mountains are perfect for hiking, Landskron Castle is nearby (the birds of prey show is also very nice!). Next to the CP Berghof is a supermarket with a very good range of products!
