At the beginning of September we were able to recover from our long journey for almost a week on your very tidy site.
Everything was perfect. During the hours of sunshine we were able to use the comfortable loungers on the sunbathing lawn by the lake. We are keen cyclists.... The area around Lake Ossiach is very beautiful. But the highlight for us was the Drau cycle path Villach.
Then I have to mention the cleaning team, simply great. I have rarely found such clean showers and toilets.
Our pitch no. 44 had a beautiful view of the lake, but was unfortunately very shady for this time of year.

For example, when we were on the campsite shortly before the end of the season, some of the toilets and showers were already closed, which led to congestion at peak times. When I brought this up at reception, one more toilet and shower was opened immediately. We left a day early due to rain and didn't have to pay for this day despite booking. But that's not the CP's faultIt's like coming homeWe've been here several times now and it's like coming home. Mrs. Lauritsch and everyone else are really nice! We feel very comfortable here (although-see disadvantages). It was a bit of a shame that not all the showers were open. Everything is tiptop and clean and very quiet at night! The lake is a... dream, wonderful for swimming or SUP. With the e-bike you are in Villach in about 30 minutes and it is also possible to get to Faaker See. The surrounding mountains are perfect for hiking, Landskron Castle is nearby (the birds of prey show is also very nice!). Next to the CP Berghof is a supermarket with a very good range of products!
