The sanitary building (north) is new and clean. Beautifully laid out path for dog walking with the possibility to run free. We found the size of the site manageable and perfect. It was very quiet (zone G), although there was a different program during the week. The pitches are great. The whole site is clean. The sanitary facilities (north) are new.
I have never seen such a beautiful circular... path for dog walks (incl. stream and free-running area) on any other site. Perfect for short laps in hot weather.
There are lots of walks within a short distance.

We arrived with a caravan. Our pitch was in a very nice location, so we had a beautiful view of nature. We also had nice neighbors. On arrival, check-in went very quickly and our caravan was even driven to the pitch, as it would have been too difficult to... get there by car. The campsite has a very nice playground for the children and a lovely pool. There are sun loungers on the pool terrace with a view of the mountains towards Mondsee. The reception with a small grocery shop is also right next to the pool area and is easy to reach. The campsite staff are very friendly. There is always up-to-date information about activities on the campsite or in the surrounding area. The Mondsee, but also other lakes and Salzburg, for example, are very easy to reach. The sanitary and waste disposal facilities are very centrally located. The waste disposal facilities in particular are very well maintained. The ladies' sanitary facilities are in good order. The men's toilets were always very dirty... But it also depends on the condition in which some guests leave the toilets... The natural pond on the campsite invites some guests to go fishing and is beautifully laid out. The entire campsite is very well maintained and beautifully decorated. The campsite staff are all very friendly and helpful, and they have no problem communicating in English. I consider the cleanliness of the entire campsite and the excellent facilities to be a great advantage - you can find everything you need at the campsite. A nice bonus is the beautiful swimming pool, which is free of charge. Although you have to pay extra for electricity at the basic spots designated for tents only, you can charge your phone for free in the common room.NegativnoHonestly, I can't think of any downsides or disadvantages that we noticed during our camping vacation. :) I was worried about what it would be like to camp in the basic zone right next to the playground (whether there would be noise or mess, for example), but these concerns were far from realized.What a great holiday at Camp Mondseeland! :)Overall, I would rate our stay at Camp Mondseeland as above average. We were pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went - from check-in, through the stay itself, to check-out.
