Lots of trees providing shade. Clean restrooms. Friendly staff. Everything is very well maintained. A restaurant right next door. Facilities for washing dishes. Drinking water available right at every site.

That the Mondsee was so far away. It would be great to have our own natural swimming pond, since the pool is usually packed with kids. Which I can understand, though.
Pure relaxation
Since we were new to camping and finding ourselves in completely unfamiliar territory, we found it really pleasant and relaxing. And we’ll definitely stop by again if the opportunity arises. The location is absolutely beautiful, with the mountains in the background—so close—not to mention the starry... sky. Simply amazing—but of course, nature gives us that for free. We also really liked the value for the price. Thank you so much for the experience, even if it was only brief.

A Short Visit to Camp Mondsee
It was our first time camping, and we loved it. A very nice campground, with the restrooms just a short walk away—everything you could ask for.
The campground is also very dog-friendly, and the dog run is really great for our four-legged friends.

A Fantastic Vacation
We had a fantastic stay at Camping Mondseeland and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Mondsee area. The campground is very well maintained, and everything is clean and organized.

The restrooms were spotless throughout our stay, which made a big difference. The swimming pool is beautiful,... well-maintained, and a great place to relax after a day of exploring. It was especially enjoyable for families with children.

A special thank you also goes to Goran, the man who kept everything running smoothly.

Overall, Camping Mondseeland offers a perfect combination of cleanliness, comfort, great facilities, and excellent food. We would definitely come back and can warmly recommend this campsite to everyone looking for a relaxing vacation in Austria.

Our only minor complaint was the water temperature in the pool. We felt that the water was significantly colder than the stated 30 °C.
A beautiful campground with excellent service
We spent a week at Camp MondSeeLand from July 4 to 11, 2026—as a family of two adults, one child, and our dog, staying in a cabin. Our stay was a complete success, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this campground.

The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We especially liked the beautiful... pool, the clean and modern restrooms, and the great playground for children. The walking paths along the river and the fenced-in dog area were also a big plus—our dog felt very comfortable there as well.

The small campground store is well-stocked, and there are fresh pastries every morning, which we really appreciated.

We felt very comfortable throughout our entire stay and would like to express our sincere thanks for the wonderful time. We’d love to come back!

A dog costs €12—for what? They didn't even give us a treat. Then they write that dogs aren't allowed to mark their territory—obviously, they shouldn't do their business on the grounds, but expecting them not to "mark" at all is unrealistic. It makes you feel unwelcome.

Dogs not welcome. 12€ per dog—no treats, no bags, or anything else. What are the 12€ for? Dogs aren't allowed to mark their territory—that's a pipe dream.

A wonderful campground where, unfortunately, we only stayed for one night. A small pool where you could cool off for a bit is a nice bonus.

Great Campground

M07 Parking spot on the corner—People often walk right across our parking spot, even when we're sitting outside. That bothered us. BAD SIGNAL.
Nice amenities, good campsite, friendly women at the front desk
We enjoyed our stay at your campground. Unfortunately, it rained from morning to night one day, but the next day we went on a long bike ride in the area. Even though we missed out on that one day, we still had a great time and took a taxi to Mondsee. Thank you.

The best campsite we’ve ever been to!
It was amazing, we really enjoyed our time there, the ability to get to the lake quickly, very comfortable camp with no queues to the toilets or showers, easy access to the main facilities area and very nicely made roads (it was raining and it was not flooded at all!!). So far we can say this is the best place we’ve been to and we are planning to come back again!

One had to pay to use the stove (fee for electricity). Felt a bit cheap considering the camping fee.

Good time
We were greeted very warmly, and all our subsequent interactions with the staff were also very friendly and cordial. The service booklet we were given was really great; we were able to take advantage of many of the services described in it and had a wonderful time as a result. The campsite we rented... was just as we’d chosen it beforehand. In the almost unbearable heat, the swimming pool was a welcome way to cool off—it was always clean and pleasant. Even when it rained, we were able to keep ourselves entertained thanks to the covered ping-pong tables and the pool table. We love it when there are cooking facilities at the campground. That way, you can prepare (greasy) dishes that would otherwise leave too strong a smell in the RV. Thanks to the free bus and train service, we traveled a lot by public transportation and explored the surrounding area on foot. An e-bike is a plus for the trip to Mondsee, but those who don’t have one can rent one at the reception desk. The weekly market stall with select specialties was always a crowd-pleaser. We rarely stay in one place for very long, but here we never got bored and were able to really “unwind” from the stress of everyday life.

A very well-maintained campground. Large sites. The restrooms are very clean. The staff is super friendly—the groundskeeper is a real gem :) Great location for day trips.

Constant changes in seating arrangements. Not suitable for those seeking peace and quiet, as there is a lot of (children's) noise during the peak season in July and August.
Great, very well-maintained campground, but ...
Many guests (parents) don't worry about the people around them at the campground, so the noise level is very high. I’d gladly come back, but only outside of the vacation season with a different “crowd.” That’s why I’m deducting points for this time of year and giving this otherwise very good campground an overall rating of 3 instead of the usual 5 points.

Everything's great—it's far from town but in a beautiful setting in the mountains. The children's program is geared more toward younger children up to age ten.

A Great Family Vacation with Kids and the Dog
A really great campground in a beautiful region.
Perfect for us with kids and a dog. Friendly welcome, spacious campsite. Very clean restroom facilities. The playground and pool were great for the kids. Very nice waiter at the restaurant! We’ll definitely be back, though probably not during this same... time of year.
Unfortunately, we’ve had increasingly unpleasant experiences with a few fellow campers. People shouldn’t regularly spit on other (occupied) campsites or constantly park their bikes well into the neighboring site. In the mornings, our first task on several occasions was to collect and dispose of used tissues and trash that had come from the neighboring site. Toward the end of our stay, two groups (including some larger ones) became very dominant on the campground and, unfortunately, were sometimes loud (during quiet hours). I almost don’t dare write these lines, but honestly, as Austrians, we increasingly didn’t feel quite as comfortable as we did at the beginning.
Nevertheless, it was truly a wonderful vacation for us at an excellent campground in our beautiful homeland of Austria!

It's like looking for a needle in a haystack
Vacation in June 2026
We had the pleasure of spending a wonderful, relaxing, and peaceful vacation with you. The ladies at the front desk welcomed us warmly and gave us helpful instructions. After setting up our trailer and awning in the intense heat (38 degrees), we were able to cool off in the heated pool. We really appreciated... the special “adults-only” times in the morning and evening.
The dogs were allowed to cool off in the natural swimming lake or in the stream in Robinsontal.
The little campground shop always had fresh rolls in the morning, along with other little treats to snack on.
The restrooms were always very clean, except that some campers didn’t clean their showers with the rubber squeegee after use.
Goran, the campground’s good spirit, always had a smile on his face, a kind word here and there, was always hard at work, and would occasionally call out campers who didn’t follow the rules.
Thank you all so much for the wonderful vacation—we’ll definitely be back. We’d be more than happy to recommend Camping Mondseeland to others.
