A very nice shady place with electricity and water connection and a great view towards Mondsee and the mountains. We explored the area by bike and scooter and were able to enjoy it because there... was pleasantly little car traffic. We passed the beautifully situated Irrsee and headed back towards our "Camp MondSeeLand" where we were already looking forward to a coffee and cake in the beautiful inn. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when the inn is closed, there is a food truck with chips, burgers, etc., as well as a chicken cart and a market stall near reception. You can swim in the pool. You can also swim at the Irrsee and Mondsee bathing areas. If you don't want to drive or cycle to your destinations, you can order the Postbus shuttle via app or by phone. This is available free of charge, as is local public transport. The campsite team will provide campers with detailed information on this by email or in their comprehensive brochure. The sanitary facilities are clean and plentiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The campsite is a bit out of the way and if you want to stroll around in the evening, you have to cycle or take the post shuttle. This is... free and easy to book via the app. There are plenty of hiking trails and great cycle paths directly from the campsite. I can also highly recommend the adjoining restaurant, Fohlenhof. Very tasty 😋. And also the offers from the campsite. I think the chicken stand, footprint, cheese and bacon stand are great 👍. This decision was absolutely right. From the first contact (booking and deposit) to the checkout on the day of departure, everything went very smoothly.
The organization is excellent,... the check-in quick and smooth. Our pitch by the lake was great and quiet, yet close to the clean sanitary facilities.
Overall, you can see and feel that the site is very well maintained and that improvements are constantly being made to the infrastructure.
Excursion and hiking opportunities directly from the campsite without long detours via busy roads are a highlight. This was particularly important to us.
For dogs, there is a nice short hiking trail and a very well-kept and clean dog area.
The staff at the campsite are always helpful and very friendly.
