Andreas K.junij 2026Short StayThe price is very high for a campsite that is partly located on old permanent camper plots with the corresponding ground conditions. Where I was parked, there was also an old patio bordered with lawn pavers. Otherwise, in my opinion, the site is used by many permanent campers or as a parking lot for RVs and trailers.

Two minor points that could have been better: first, the electrical boxes for the rear sites are very far away, and it would be nice if there were more dishwashing areas (at the second restroom building), especially outdoors, since the one inside felt like a sauna.

Er zouden meer waterkranen met afvoerputjes mogen zijn.Goede camping!Wij stonden vrij vooraan naast de mobilhomes, ruime plek met waterkraan op loopafstand. Een mooi schoon toiletgebouw bij de receptie. Camping ligt op 10 minuten lopen van Essen-Werden Altstadt, een leuke plaats met veel restaurants, terrasjes, winkeltjes, supermarkten en bakkers . In de omgeving heb... je goede fietsroutes naar allerlei plaatsen. Redelijk bosrijke omgeving wat je eigenlijk niet verwacht. Place 26 was ok, but if we had the choice,... we would have gone to the place from the previous year. Let's see if it works next time! Otherwise everything was tip-top, plus an additional mobile toilet block at our height, so within walking distance - good shaft train😉Our family came to visit, so the staff are behind the fact that you have to register first, but we were able to arrange it well because 4 out of 6 slept with us for one night....also:

- Indra O.maj 2026Again and again with pleasure!From a structural point of view, it is an enrichment that additional toilets have been built in the middle of the square. The sanitary and recreation areas at each end of the pitch are super clean and very spacious. I was particularly pleased with the luxury of the small dishwasher. I was impressed by... the organization of the Whitsun festival on the adjacent meadow. The campsite was part of the security concept and it was perfectly thought out so that there were no disruptions for the campers. Monika B.maj 20262 wonderful days in peaceful surroundingsIt was a wonderful 2 days in peaceful surroundings. Our pitch was really big, partly with a nice lawn or paved.
However, despite reserving a pitch opposite our daughter's permanent pitch, we were only directed to the far end of the campsite. As I currently need a walker, it was then possible to stand opposite our daughter with our motorhome as planned. Perfect!
