The campsite is right on the Ruhr and only 5 minutes from the Essen Werden S-Bahn station. Very good public transport connections in all directions, the rail replacement service also ran smoothly.

The whole campsite is fenced in and the gate with access to the Ruhr is locked at night, which I think is very good.
The only thing I find overpriced are the prices in the restaurant. But the food is good.
