The toilets and showers were very well maintained and clean. Located directly on the Ruhr cycle path. Good transport links to the city. It rained a lot during our stay and it was cool. Therefore no assessment of leisure activities on the campsite possible. Bread roll service, dishwasher :) and lounge with TV. Very friendly welcome and service at the reception. You can set off on long walks from the site.

- Anita G.Σεπτέμβριος 2025ΘετικάExcellent as a starting point in the Ruhr area, very friendly staff and very clean sanitary facilities, unfortunately sometimes very long distances.ΑρνητικάNoisy kennels, partly unkempt permanent campsites, pitches sometimes very narrow to get there properly when the site is full.Would be a nice place in the Ruhr areaThe pitches are so narrow that with the edge you have to overcome, it is almost impossible to get a caravan with a mover up when the pitch is full, because then you have no chance of reaching some pitches by car.
A few fewer pitches and the edges away from the only path would be helpful. The permanent... campsite is very unkempt in places.
The site would also be beautifully situated on the Ruhr if it weren't for the constant barking from the kennels above during the week.
The 2 points are for the friendliness at reception and the very clean sanitary facilities.
