Clean sanitary areas. Well-kept and large pitches. Good gastronomy. Very nice and friendly operator couple. Friendly staff. Since we were very satisfied, we extended our vacation by 3 nights. We have already booked for Christmas/New Year's Eve this year.

Great stay with a dog
It was our first camping vacation over New Year's Eve, mainly because of our dog. It was so relaxed and we met some really nice people. Really great.

Prima restaurant, vriendelijke eigenaren en werknemers en natuurlijk de prachtige omgeving. Met 2 kleine hondjes prachtig verblijf gehad. Maar we were al enkele malen eerder geweest dus was al bekend :-)

Thank you very much for your review and the four out of five stars - we are particularly pleased that you found the campsite as a whole to be welcoming and that you liked both the sauna and the restaurant so much. The great excursion options from the campsite are also important to us, so... it's nice to read that you highlighted these positively.

The fact that no water was available directly at the campsite in winter is - as you write yourself - actually due to the temperatures and the frost protection to protect the pipes and equipment. For the coming winter season, however, we are looking into how we can communicate the information even more clearly so that guests can plan better.

We take the slightly lower rating in the "Families with children under 12" and "Sanitary facilities" sections seriously: our aim is to make families feel at home with us, while at the same time we are continuously working on our two sanitary buildings to further improve cleanliness and comfort. Feedback like yours helps us to set priorities for future improvements.

It's great to read that you had such positive memories of your winter vacation and that you've already written "We'll be back" - the whole team at Hetzingen campsite is really looking forward to it.

For us, the Hetzingen campsite is more than just a place to spend the night - it feels like a little piece of home in the middle of nature. As soon as you arrive, everyday life simply falls away from you. The peace and quiet, the fresh air, the greenery all around...... it just feels good.

What particularly moved us was the warmth of the place. You are not simply greeted - you are welcomed. With a smile, with genuine friendliness, with the feeling: it's nice that you're here.

The pitches are well-kept, the surroundings invite you to take a deep breath and the atmosphere is so warm that you'll want to stay longer than planned. It's places like this that remind you how valuable little breaks are.

For us, Hetzingen is a place where you arrive - and blossom inside. 🌿💛
We will definitely be back.

Great campsite
We stayed at the campsite for the first time over the weekend. We received a very friendly welcome. You immediately feel at home. The site is very well maintained. The sanitary facilities are clean and heated in winter. For us there was nothing to complain about and we have already booked our next stay. Many thanks to the whole team.

As always, the welcome from the campsite staff was friendly, courteous and helpful The campsite is as usual very clean and nothing is missing, the Hetzinger Steffen and the café are excellent

Unfortunately, there was one thing we all didn't like At the Hetzingen campsite, time somehow seems to run faster than at home The time there passed so quickly that we were almost sad to go home again

We always enjoy coming back to the campsite. Kirsten and Gereon are great hosts, the location and the two restaurants in the immediate vicinity are excellent. We especially liked the sauna.
