The location directly on the Saalach, surrounded by majestic mountains, is simply fantastic. The pitches are spacious, well-kept and offer plenty of privacy. I was particularly impressed by the modern... and very clean sanitary facilities - you almost feel like you're in a hotel here.
The sauna area in the main building is a real highlight. After a hike or an active day, the sauna is the perfect place to switch off and relax. Everything is stylishly furnished and pleasantly quiet - ideal for recharging your batteries.
The staff are friendly and helpful throughout, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The restaurant also impresses with delicious regional cuisine and a cozy atmosphere. The entire complex is lovingly maintained, quiet and offers many opportunities for relaxation - whether hiking, cycling or simply enjoying nature.

And what can I say: We'll be back again next year!

Large and quiet pitches in the rear area are just the right thing... for us to relax on vacation in the Saalachtal.
With the Saalachcard included during the season, we were able to take the gondolas directly up to the Almenwelt Lofer. For an extra €5 per bike, the e-bike can be taken up to the middle station. This means that the first part of the ascent is already done :-)
The regional bus connection directly to Salzburg was also very good. Yes, it takes just under 90 minutes to get there, but you save the travel costs and parking fees and it's only about 30 minutes slower if you drive there yourself. So a clear recommendation to take the bus to Salzburg!
