The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The campsites are beautiful, spacious, and very well-maintained. We were absolutely thrilled with the sauna—it’s a full-fledged sauna area with four different saunas, a very large relaxation room, and a very... cozy atmosphere.
The restroom buildings are very spacious and well-maintained. We were completely surprised by the “shower stalls.” In our restroom building, they were small bathrooms (XL family bathrooms) with a large shower, sink, toilet, and a closet.
The gym is also very nice, with a beautiful view of the mountains; unfortunately, there was no treadmill, which I would have really appreciated.

The staff were always friendly, cheerful and helpful.

I don’t understand all the negative reviews online.
Yes, it has gotten much more expensive, but what isn’t getting more expensive these days? I have the option to ask about the price in advance, and if... it’s too expensive for me, I simply don’t book. But getting upset about it after the fact?
The staff is friendly and helps out whenever possible if there are any questions. Some guests should remember the saying: “What goes around comes around…”
Mareike runs the Grubhof, and she does a really great job. There are always people for whom that’s not enough.
The maintenance staff do their best and are right there when needed.
The campsite is great. Quiet, spacious, and there are plenty of bathrooms that are easy to reach. You’d be hard-pressed to find family bathrooms like these anywhere else.
We’d like to thank you once again for the wonderful time and are looking forward to January 27.
