So no problem for meSuper campsiteI was very skeptical at first, as I'm not a luxury camper. But I have now become a convinced Grubhof fan. A beautiful site right on the Saalach. Right from the start, although it was very busy, the staff were very friendly and courteous and took time for everyone. Incidentally, the staff in the restaurant... and store are also very friendly.
The pitches are very spacious and have a very wide green strip right up to the next row, which is super nice and you always have the feeling of space and, above all, peace and quiet. Other campsite operators would make twice as many pitches here.
What I would particularly like to highlight is the division of the pitches into dog, family and quiet areas. Great idea, someone has really thought about it.
Electricity, water and gray water disposal at every pitch, which saves time and walking, which I really enjoyed.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere on the campsite is informal and relaxed. Whether hiking, cycling or simply unwinding - there is something for everyone here. We will definitely be back!

However, we will only go to the Grubhof as a couple without children outside of vacation or holiday periods.
Lots of small children, who of course make a lot of noise. Unfortunately, the parents don't care, but it's not the campsite's fault....
We also find the prices quite high and the infrastructure is very poor in the low season.
Of course you can go shopping at almost any time, even on public holidays.
However, Lofer is a small village in the low season and many stores are closed.
No mountain huts are open. Some hiking trails are still closed. It's just the problem between a full high season and a dormant low season. Not so easy for hikers, but here too the Grubhof can't help but be bothered by the high prices at the Grubhof.
Despite everything, we will certainly visit the Grubhof again at some point, but probably in the fall when there are package deals. The individual pitches offer enough space for a little privacy.
The sanitary buildings are modern, bright and friendly, which we really liked! We especially liked the option of a family bathroom!
The atmosphere in the wellness area was very pleasant and... relaxing.
The staff were super nice and friendly, we felt very well looked after!
We really enjoyed our stay and the beautiful landscape and nature topped it all off! We would love to come back and can highly recommend the campsite!
