The campsite has an excellent structure, is very well maintained and offers a fantastic view of the impressive mountain scenery. The surroundings are an absolute dream - you discover something new every... time, whether you're hiking, cycling or simply exploring nature. The wonderful sauna and relaxation area is particularly noteworthy, offering perfect relaxation after an active day. Friendly staff, nice restaurant and small store on site with everything you need. The surrounding area is great, countless cycling and hiking trails, there is something for everyone. In summer free mountain railroad in Lofer and... many attractions in the area with free admission, which we liked very much. Our sanitary building was one of the best we've had so far, large private bathrooms at no extra cost, very clean and no waiting times except in the evening. The prices for the pitch are very reasonable and good value for money. The location and infrastructure of the campsite is very good. The wash house at the tent meadow is too small and not so clean, but there are other nice wash houses not far away. The reception was always open to our requests. You can make very nice excursions from the campsite. The Saalachtal Card, which includes many free offers, is a positive thing. However, there is one small point to criticize. If I'm going to advertise an xxl pitch, I want to be able to use it. You are told how to stand. This is not a bad thing at all. However, the... vehicle with attachment should stand on the gravel. Now there is actually a lot of grass area. But you can't really use it. The grass was very high at the time. But that's really just a minor detail.
Apart from that, there's really nothing to complain about here.

The location by the river is great. What we also really liked was the outdoor pool and the cable car, which is free with the regional card, which is really great, especially because otherwise the costs for a... week with children are quite high.
