Due to the late time I had booked, I was still able to choose a pitch in the blue zone. The fact that this zone is valid with an ACSI card also made the vacation cheaper. We were lucky with the weather, only sunshine. So we were able to explore the town by bike and... enjoy the restaurants that were still open. It was very quiet on the beach, wonderful to relax. The site is well-kept and the sanitary facilities are excellent. You could also hire a technical "janitor" to carry out repairs in the sanitary and shower areas, or actually everywhere. In a hotel, I would have changed rooms! And yes, I know we're talking about camping. But you want to be "the" 5* campsite and even in the low season you charge more than other campsites in the high season, so the expectation is accordingly. And although the food in the restaurant is a dream, the service is definitely not. Lanyards that "fit" would also be great.More appearance than reality!The site is very large and spacious. The access roads and parking facilities are also very ample. Even large motorhomes are sure to find a space. However, as we are in the middle of the city, it is also very noisy. And in summer, with all the entertainment and children having fun, it's also very loud... very early on, which lasts throughout the day until late in the evening (I've been there in the high season). You should only book the places around the swimming pool if you have children ;-) It's a shame and unnecessary that you need ages of extensions for cables and water, could have been planned differently. Also the fact that you have to "lay" them through hedges and the other plots is a bit annoying. Alternatively, you can book the pitch where the distributor is. Then you often have the neighbors standing next to you, if you like it ;-) But what is definitely not nice are the public areas - toilets, showers, sinks, ..., you can simply see that the technical janitor is either overwhelmed or simply missing. I know we're talking about camping, but if you want 5* money and also want to be "the" campsite, you have to deliver. The restaurant was very good, breakfast and dinner. However, the service at dinner was very mediocre and it wasn't because there were too many guests. It was more down to self-motivation. Also on the second evening. As I travel a lot in Croatia, I have to say that the price/performance ratio is definitely not right (anymore). Other campsites are definitely much better value for money. Too bad, a few years ago it was different! By the way, the lanyards are probably necessary on a city campsite. But they should also fit. And I have no idea where I should have needed them. The beach was open, the sauna was open, the supermarket was open, I could get in and out without them.
