However, there are many great restaurants in the area that are easily accessible on foot or by taxi/bolt.Clean, friendly, ideally located - absolutely recommendableWe were delighted with this campsite! The pitches are large and offer plenty of space, the pool was always clean and well maintained. We especially loved the direct access to the sea - simply fantastic!
There is even a supermarket on the site with absolutely fair prices, which is really not a matter... of course. The sanitary facilities deserve special praise: extremely clean, well-maintained and better than we have seen at many other campsites.
All the staff were super friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome straight away. Very good location, you can get to Zadar quickly by bike. In the water it's great that after a short time the pebbles actually turn into sand and not rocks, so you can romp and play there. But all in all, we liked it very much. Very nice staff in the restaurant and good food.NegatīvaisUnfortunately, the space and therefore the number of sun loungers on the beach is very limited. If you sleep longer you hardly have a chance. Some of the access lanes are unfortunately very narrow for larger motorhomes, so you have to be able to maneuver.Great campsite in a good locationA very family and child-friendly campsite. The corresponding noise should not disturb you.
Everything is very well maintained and clean.

It's not a disadvantage but I would definitely book a different pitch next time.Blue Sky pitchesThe place in general is worth a visit. Sanitary facilities well maintained and clean, staff consistently friendly and always responsive. Great pool area with something for everyone.
The spa area with fitness room is a little small but if you catch the right time then you have time and space to use the... equipment. The beach is typical for Croatia but you could find your own area despite the many vacationers. The store on the campsite offers everything for daily needs, but prices are sometimes utopian, but you can easily shop nearby outside the campsite.
Bus stops directly in front of the campsite so perfect for getting to the old town. The walk of about 6.5 km is well worth it. The shock came when we moved into the mobile home: The toilet had not been cleaned and still had traces of feces from the previous occupant.
There was no apology or understanding in response to our complaint - only the comment "this doesn't happen that... often". For just under €5,000 in two weeks, we expect a clean house on arrival. Instead, we found hair in the shower, dirty dishes and stains on the walls. The comforters were also too long for the covers and open at the bottom - unhygienic and unpleasant, as you come into direct contact with worn, discolored blankets. Other shortcomings: faulty kettle, irregular towel service, lack of anti-mosquito device.
There are tripping hazards on the complex itself due to cables and hoses, rules at the pool (no reservations, no air mattresses) are not enforced. The sanitary facilities there were unusable on several occasions. We would like to highlight the restaurant with its friendly staff and the entertainment - especially the swimming course with Kadir, who works with great commitment.
Conclusion: The resort may be fine for a short stopover. We would not recommend it for a longer stay. We would have been better off spending the €5,000 for the two weeks on something else. Premium campsite that did not meet our expectations. We booked the Falkensteiner for the second time because Zadar with... its beach promenade, sunsets and culinary delights is one of the highlights of our vacation in Croatia every year.
During our vacations in Croatia over the last few years, we have come across several campsites that deserve the premium label more in terms of Wi-Fi, sanitary facilities and beach. We still had a great time at the Falkensteiner and Zadar is a special city.Automātiski tulkots.

BUT since it is a public beach! understandable!
However, strangers are right next to the fence and therefore right next to your pitch! Unfortunately, we also had no boundary with shrubs... Some of the garbage... is disposed of next to you and at night, party people like to be out and about (03:00 at night... or 06:45 in the morning) Families with noisy children are looking for a place to lie early in the morning and as I said, about half a meter away from your place, that's not funny, especially in this price range!!!
Unfortunately, the toilet is also not cleaned enough! At 07:00 in the morning it is almost impossible to find a clean toilet!
Given the size of this campsite, cleaning every 2 hours, according to the cleaning schedule, is simply not enough!
Conclusion, campsite on the whole okay, location further back which are not so expensive are probably the better choice.
Too bad.

Then the outdoor pool is nice, but overcrowded, noisy and dirty. All the sun loungers are "reserved" in the morning, although this is not permitted. However, the (mostly young) staff pay no attention to this. As an alternative, you can go to the public beach, but even there... there is a fight for free sun loungers and you lie in a row.
However, the campsites themselves are beautiful.
It is unfortunate that the bathing and leisure area is not sufficient for this number of campers in the high season, while the prices are at their highest.
The apartments are very expensive, but well equipped. Only the mattresses are cheap, completely worn out and worn out. Unfortunately, there was no new bed linen during our 8-day stay. However, the towels were changed regularly.

The tent has air conditioning and is furnished to a high standard. Large fridge, hob, pots, crockery and various kitchen utensils available. Breakfast on the private terrace with morning sun is particularly nice. Everything is in the immediate vicinity, reception, sanitary facilities, parking spaces, restaurant easily accessible. The beach is clean, sometimes a bit crowded, but thanks to the sun loungers in the grounds you can always find a spot - and the sea is right on the doorstep. The naughtiness of vacationers reserving loungers with towels from 7:00 am is unfortunately tolerated.Beautiful, large 5* campsite with room for improvementGreat pitch right by the sea. Our pitch was large and without shade (the trees are still young) - no problem for us thanks to the air conditioning. The sunset is a real highlight, preferably from the comfort of the beach. We also work on vacation and found enough peace and quiet overall. In the high... season it is of course lively with entertainment and guests who like to party - for us this is part of the experience, even if some people do get carried away.
