BUT since it is a public beach! understandable!
However, strangers are right next to the fence and therefore right next to your pitch! Unfortunately, we also had no boundary with shrubs... Some of the garbage... is disposed of next to you and at night, party people like to be out and about (03:00 at night... or 06:45 in the morning) Families with noisy children are looking for a place to lie early in the morning and as I said, about half a meter away from your place, that's not funny, especially in this price range!!!
Unfortunately, the toilet is also not cleaned enough! At 07:00 in the morning it is almost impossible to find a clean toilet!
Given the size of this campsite, cleaning every 2 hours, according to the cleaning schedule, is simply not enough!
Conclusion, campsite on the whole okay, location further back which are not so expensive are probably the better choice.
Too bad.

Then the outdoor pool is nice, but overcrowded, noisy and dirty. All the sun loungers are "reserved" in the morning, although this is not permitted. However, the (mostly young) staff pay no attention to this. As an alternative, you can go to the public beach, but even there... there is a fight for free sun loungers and you lie in a row.
However, the campsites themselves are beautiful.
It is unfortunate that the bathing and leisure area is not sufficient for this number of campers in the high season, while the prices are at their highest.
The apartments are very expensive, but well equipped. Only the mattresses are cheap, completely worn out and worn out. Unfortunately, there was no new bed linen during our 8-day stay. However, the towels were changed regularly.

Good infrastructure (mini-market, bakery, close to the sea, restaurants in the area). Children are well looked after and welcome. Playground and pools easily accessible, children can move freely around the site. Dogs also available in large numbers. Staying in... a glamping tent was a special experience. The tent has air conditioning and is furnished to a high standard. Large fridge, hob, pots, crockery and various kitchen utensils available. Breakfast on the private terrace with morning sun is particularly nice. Everything is in the immediate vicinity, reception, sanitary facilities, parking spaces, restaurant easily accessible. The small store (clothes, swimwear...) is not very accommodating. We bought bathing shoes and on the second day the Velcro fastener was broken. We wanted to exchange them, but they didn't do it. Not very friendly...Top campsiteThis was our second time at the campsite this year. The location is very good, because you are quickly in Zadar (you can drive very nicely along the sea) We were welcomed very friendly at the reception and got a very nice place. The restaurant at the campsite is very good and the staff here are also... very friendly. Everything is very clean. The beach, fine gravel and partly sand in the water, is public and therefore there is a fence to the CP. There is a beach bar and a few small restaurants nearby.
The SPA area is also highly recommended, especially the massages with Kana.

Booked directly via the Falkensteiner website. Breakfast was also included. Spacious mobile home, air-conditioned, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Everything of high quality and as in the pictures. Well-equipped kitchen. Nice terrace. Several good restaurants within walking distance.NegatívneOne of the toilets in the mobilehome flushed very slowly.Falkensteiner Premium Camping ZadarIn addition to its own (but public) beach area, this campsite offers a large pool, two slides and a children's pool. There is a program for children and teens and a children's club. You can join in everywhere, but the animation is not intrusive or disturbing.
There is also a pool bar and a restaurant... with a cocktail bar and a daily evening program. We had a mobilehome at the very back, so you don't notice any of the program and have your own area and peace and quiet.
We cannot recommend the food truck on the beach. The food there is of course fast food. That in itself is not a problem, but the taste was not a highlight. The chicken nuggets were watery (?) and the burger was almost completely raw inside.
There is a supermarket with the essentials, but you also pay campsite prices.
Our mobile home was perfect for us and our two daughters. They each had their own room and bathroom.
We felt very comfortable. In terms of price, we probably saved a little compared to an all-inclusive vacation. The breakfast buffet was particularly enjoyable. For me, a vacation is only a vacation if I don't have to take care of breakfast myself.
There is also a spa and massages. I can't give any details about this as we didn't use them. But it's a great alternative for bad weather days.
All in all, the campsite really offers a lot of options and amenities. I think you can compare it more to a club. The site is very well maintained, the sanitary facilities were always clean and modern, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We particularly liked the quiet location - perfect for relaxing, but still close enough... to the shops.
There is also plenty on offer for children: The playground is lovingly designed and the entertainment program was varied and enthusiastic. The pitches are spacious and offer plenty of privacy.
In short: a great campsite that is run with a lot of heart. The store on site has a sufficient selection, we also liked the restaurant. The exchange of towels was offered regularly, the disposal of residual waste is very well regulated (the fact that the camping visitors do not adhere to this is something else)NegatívneMost of the fabric shading in the parking spaces is defective and no longer available - unfortunately, this doesn't match the overall ambience at all.Recommendation without hesitationThe check-in and check-out were both completed quickly and the staff were very friendly, which is good after a long journey.
The whole site is kept very clean, the large number of garbage cans are emptied regularly and the garbage islands are also kept clean.
The sanitary facilities are great - plenty... of hot water and spacious shower cubicles, the toilets are also cleaned regularly.
The nights are pleasantly quiet and the beach and the sea are clean - you can go far out, unfortunately no beach for snorkeling due to the lack of rocks.

The tent was clean, well equipped and was regularly supplied with fresh towels (every 2-3 days). The facility itself leaves little to be desired. You can really find everything you need in the park. The supermarket is very well stocked and the restaurant has enough dishes for 2-3 visits. The pool area is great - for both adults and children. Water shoes are recommended for direct access to the sea - but you can buy them directly at the resort.NegatívneThe kitchen could have been a little better equipped - but it's enough for simple meals.Glamping with comfort and freedom - perfect for familiesWe had a wonderful time at Falkensteiner Premium Camping in Zadar. The site is in a great location and very well maintained. We spent the night in a glamping tent - that was a real highlight! All in all, a really lovely site for families with children who want to combine freedom and nature with a touch of comfort. The allocated pitch was too small but we were able to swap.
Access to the pitches is a bit "tricky" because there is a raised kerb in front of the access road.
Electricity was on and we had to connect water at the pitch below us (this is a... bit unfavorable because you always have to walk completely over the other pitch).
The pool and spa were very nice and we used them regularly.
In the last 2 weeks it got more and more crowded and unfortunately the cleanliness in the toilets and showers suffered.
However, this was not due to the cleaning staff but to the guests themselves. It's a shame because the sanitary facilities are really very attractively designed and, with the background music, a real experience.
Access to the beach
The access to the beach is blocked by a gate, which can be opened with a card/transponder. Unfortunately, only one card is given at the camper, which is very inconvenient if you want to go swimming in the morning and don't know where to put your card.
We didn't use the restaurant. Supermarket had a very good range and prices were just ok... but not comparable with prices outside.
All in all the staff go out of their way in all areas to make sure all guests have a great vacation.
We will be back next year but this time not for 3 weeks.
Ps Trips to the old town work
very well and above all cheaply via the Uber app.

During your stay, our Sea Summer Festival took place - a special series of events where we offer our guests a varied program with several live acts. It can occasionally get a little louder until shortly after 10 pm.

The site itself is very clean and well-kept, the pitches are extremely spacious and partly shaded. On the plus side, there are plenty of free parking spaces within the campsite so you don't have to park your car on the pitch. The sanitary facilities are always clean, air-conditioned and very attractively designed. The supermarket within the campsite has a sufficient range of products at discount prices. The campsite restaurant is also perfectly priced and the food tastes very good. The pebble beach is clean and well-kept, the water is clear, as you would expect in Croatia. Changing entertainment programs for children and adults, if you want. As we no longer have children with us, we were very enthusiastic about the wellness area with its own small adult pool. Sauna and small gym would also be included in the price, but it was too warm for that in July. All in all, an excellent place.NegatívneThe only negative thing for us was that there didn't seem to be any rules at the pool. It goes without saying that the pool is frequented by families with children. But the children and teenagers are constantly jumping into the water from the edge of the pool without any consideration, even climbing onto the water mushroom in the middle of the pool to jump into the water from there and drinking juices and lemonade in the pool. The pool rules are posted on the side, but there doesn't seem to be a lifeguard to enforce them. It was too much hustle and bustle for us.Very good campsiteOverall a very recommendable place, clean and very well maintained with luxurious sanitary facilities.
