Beautiful, spacious rooms; great chalet

The chalet could use more dishes and silverware so the dishwasher doesn't have to be running all the time.

Everything was very clean; there are plenty of activities for kids; the campsites are spacious; check-in was hassle-free since we did everything online, so we were able to drive right onto the campground thanks to license plate recognition.

Spacious campsite with grass pavers and a meadow next to it. Bread delivery service available. A good Italian restaurant next door. Clean and spacious restroom facilities . There’s also entertainment for kids!

Very clean and very well-maintained

There just aren't any places to shop, and even if there were just vending machines with the essentials inside...

As always, the campsite was very well-maintained, the water and wastewater services were excellent, and the electricity supply was great, as always. We had to reschedule our vacation—which we’d booked well in advance—twice on relatively short notice outside of peak season. It wasn’t a problem at all! The entire campground staff was extremely polite and accommodating. Thank you very much!!

That’s the conflict between having a well-maintained campsite and the need to maintain it during your stay. It involves noise and disruption. Well, it’s one or the other. I don’t have a solution to offer either. The “Platzsupermarkt” has closed. What a shame!! Its selection helped us out of a tight spot or two, in addition to our daily bread rolls.

Pretty much everything! The campsite was perfect. The washrooms were very clean! At the shop, we found everything we needed! The friendly staff! All in all, an amazing week that we’ll definitely do again!!!

We would have loved to just go for a walk with our dog through the no-dog zone, just a walk!

The well-maintained grounds as a whole

It's a very clean and beautifully landscaped campground! The location on the dike is also very pleasant, because from there you can easily reach everything on foot or by bike!

It was a bit of a walk to the restrooms, and everyone around me had their dog with them—I didn't really like that! It would be nicer to have areas where dogs are allowed and areas where they aren't!

There are a few campers who don't take the walking speed rules on the campground very seriously. Despite the Nordsee-Camp team's constant maintenance of the washhouses, I'm always appalled by how some fellow campers litter the place and behave so poorly.

We spent a week at Chalet Park, which had an infrared sauna and a whirlpool tub. The chalet was modernly furnished, very clean, and the outdoor areas were very well maintained. We felt very comfortable there and will definitely come back again.

Nothing

A lovely campground with spacious sites. We were there with a motorhome and a trailer (sites 27 and 32). The grass sites are level, well-maintained, and mowed. Electricity, water, and wastewater (graywater) connections are right at the site. Very good Wi-Fi coverage in this area. Good bread delivery service and shopping options. A small Italian restaurant is right nearby. Good, adequate, and clean restroom facilities. The campground is located right behind the dike—ideal for biking.

We were probably the only campers without dogs in the immediate area. The campground also advertises itself as dog-friendly. Unfortunately, there are always dog owners who don’t clean up after their pets. The campground should pay a little more attention to this (though it’s difficult). Price-wise, the campground isn’t exactly a bargain, and it’s definitely on par with the cost of dining in this area.

As a newbie camper, I didn't find any downsides.

The supermarket wasn't exactly a hit. But it's getting a makeover.

We’ve been coming to Nordsee-Camp for years. We go there every fall and are completely satisfied. The welcome: warm Dogs: not only allowed, but welcome. Bathroom facilities are top-notch. Cooking, washing dishes (even with a dishwasher), washing machine, and dryer… everything you need. Chemical toilet disposal via a self-service machine—hygienic, clean, and already prepared for the next use. On-site amenities include a supermarket and Jibben’s fish smokehouse three days a week, as well as a food truck and a restaurant. Location: right behind the North Sea dike… What more could you ask for… All in all: we’re completely satisfied and always love coming back.
