If you are here with a camper van and the weather doesn't allow you to cycle, then you can only walk to Norddeich about 1.5 km. Not a pleasure in wind and rain. There are bus connections from Norddeich. Our pitch was often used as a dog toilet, the droppings were removed but it wasn't nice. This was only possible with a cell phone, it didn't work at all with a laptop.
The resort is quiet and well-kept. You could get everything you needed in the supermarket.
I wouldn't necessarily... recommend the restaurant because of the short opening hours. I wanted to eat there spontaneously on Tuesday (had just arrived), but only just managed to get a seat. In the confirmation it said that we could stand at the "dog place" (which didn't bother us) but we were surprised because we were the only ones without a dog and there were still free places at the motorhome place.
The sanitary area at the front of the reception was... clean but I would probably have needed much less water if the regulator had worked. The water was either cold or far too hot.

There is a lot on offer for children as well as entertainment, a large playground and two smaller ones. The... location is really great, you can be on the beach in just under 10 minutes if you are a good walker. The supermarket has everything you need, the bread rolls there are very tasty and can be recommended, as can a visit to the pizzeria.
