The only thing that bothered us was the poor Wi-Fi coverage. We were on pitch 744 and there was no wifi available. I was told at reception that they had recently invested in several WiFi routers/repeaters. You could see this on the pitch, but obviously there are still areas that are not illuminated. The new chalet complex with the modern lodge houses is ideal for a family vacation with children, as it is largely car-free and is only used for loading and unloading.Negativne straneWe stayed in Chalet 62 of the new lodge complex. This new complex is completely open, the chalets are detached and are not suitable for guests seeking peace and quiet and longing for relaxation. More on this in the review.Excellent camping and chalet complexIt was our second visit to Camp-Norddeich and we can recommend this excellent campsite at any time. Service and leisure facilities as well as very good camping infrastructure convinced us again this year. (June 2025 and before thatJune 2021)
We encountered extremely friendly, competent and helpful staff... everywhere.
In contrast to chalet complex 1, the houses in the new complex with the well-equipped lodges are not surrounded by greenery or other privacy screens and are completely detached. This results in an open environment that makes it easy to make contact with the neighbors. We find this ideal for families with children. As the area is virtually car-free, the little ones can move around freely and safely, while the nearby paddock and playgrounds do the rest for a varied family vacation.
However, campers who want to enjoy relaxing evenings and quiet moments in nature will not find their happiness here.
We are happy to recommend that those seeking peace and quiet and enjoying quiet moments are better off elsewhere.

The town of Norden is also easy to reach by bike, the signposting is very good.

On June 9, 2025, I looked up prices on the site's homepage: Price for a category B pitch for caravan and 2 adults: €41 including everything per day from June 10-12. We went there without a reservation on June 10. When I registered, I was then quoted a price of €47. When I asked about the difference, I was told: "We had 40 arrivals today without a reservation. So we had to put the prices up." I have never experienced anything like this in over e0 years of camping with a caravan. This campsite won't be seeing me again. We would like to explain something about your criticism of the pricing:
Our prices have not been increased across the board. We work with an occupancy and demand-oriented pricing... system, as is common in many other areas (e.g. hotels, airlines). Depending on the booking situation, the daily price can therefore change at short notice. The price you saw online on June 9 was the price at that time. On June 10, however, demand was so high - especially due to many spontaneous arrivals - that the price was automatically adjusted accordingly. Incidentally, this is also the reason why we unfortunately do not have any printed price lists; by the time they are/will be printed, they may no longer be up to date.
We understand that this price change was irritating for you at first. That's why we recommend booking online in good time - so you can be sure of the current price and avoid surprises on arrival.
We are pleased that you have nevertheless decided to extend your stay by one night and it shows us that you generally felt comfortable - which is very important to us. We are all the more sorry that you do not wish to visit us again because of the price.
Perhaps you will reconsider your decision - we would be delighted to welcome you again.

delicious bread rolls from 8.00 am.
The chalet was clean and you have everything you need, the dike can be reached in a few minutes and the beach is also not far, about 20 minutes on foot.
Shopping facilities are also nearby.
