But it can get a bit scattered, and all in all, the stay was good. The night hike/ghost show last Friday went on a little too long, and the noise and horror sounds coming from the woods were a bit too loud. But that’s part of the deal when you... have such a wide range of activities on offer.

It’s too spread out for kids between 2 and 6 years old. Everything costs extra. We won’t be coming back until our kids are at least 10. There’s nonstop theft at the park. It was also totally overcrowded, but what I find worst is having... to pay €2.50 just so a kid can jump for 10 minutes, even though they’re already making money on drinks right next door. We arrived on short notice, and apparently there were no more spots available for caravans in the short-term parking area. They literally turned us away. We ended up staying at the campground for 85€ per night.
The next day, we finally got a spot in the short-term area, had to pay €23, didn’t... receive a QR code for the restroom, and to make matters worse, we discovered that caravans were also parked in the RV spots. Your staff had told us the day before that this wasn’t allowed. When we complained at your front desk, you didn’t really listen to us. You said we could have simply parked in a vacant motorhome spot. In addition to the €85, we had to go through the extra trouble of moving our trailer.
We realize that “complaining” after the fact doesn’t accomplish anything.
However, we request an official statement from you regarding what the general policy should be.

The pool, pirate’s nest, trampoline, mini-golf… Unfortunately, we also couldn’t get a spot for horseback... riding because everything was booked up way in advance. Back then, we traveled in a folding trailer; later, in a regular trailer. It was always my favorite vacation spot as a child.
Now we come here with my nephews and my parents for a family vacation. Childhood memories complemented... by new experiences—that’s what a vacation should be like.
The consequences of climate change, evident in the lake’s water level, are alarming. I hope and wish for Südseecamp that alternatives can be found.
As always: if my vacation plans allow, I’d love to come back. I’ve already booked for 2027.
