There was no one there to keep an eye on them—no parents or other campground staff. We’ve been coming here for 28 years now—this time with my daughter, son-in-law, and three grandchildren, who had rented their own house. It was a shame that neither the summer festival nor the spooky hike took place during our stay. They were all either before or after... our visit. My daughter, in particular, had been looking forward to them. Maybe you could time these events a little better during peak season. That would be nice. My son was even almost hit once because two teens on a bike were speeding way too fast and plowed into pedestrians.
There are lots of e-bikes, scooters, and e-scooters with kids racing... around—especially in the evenings—and reckless behavior on the paths is a really big problem—cars going over 5 km/h don’t even stand out!
