It's a bit of a shame that the prices for the swimming pool are very high compared to the price per night for the pitch. I would have found €4-5 more reasonable given the size. You can have a great time at the campsite with your family and the staff at reception were extremely friendly. Thank you :) We were completely thrilled with our stay at the Südsee-Camp! The site is beautifully laid out, very clean and offers everything a camper's heart desires. We were particularly impressed by the large bathing lake with sandy beach - a real South Sea feeling in the... middle of the Lüneburg Heath!
The site is a paradise for children: Adventure playgrounds, entertainment programs, a climbing park and the great fun pool "Aqua Mundo" are guaranteed to keep boredom at bay. There is also plenty for adults to discover - from bike hire and wellness facilities to a wide variety of restaurants.
The sanitary facilities were modern and were cleaned regularly. We would also like to highlight the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
We felt completely at ease and will definitely be back! So a stay of more than 3 days is not an option for us. Unfortunately. I'm sure it's great with younger children.
In any case, I've only heard good things from families with children.
As I said, with a dog you are rather limited. Maybe the duck problem can be solved so that you can also swim in the lake if you are very sensitive like us. An included children's program would be desirable so that you don't have to pull out your wallet for everything (e.g. bread on a stick). Laundry should be much cheaper.
