We had a comfort campsite on the edge of the forest and were very satisfied with it. The campground has everything you need, including
a small grocery store that offers a good selection of rolls and other items in the morning. The Italian restaurant is

The main complaint is this: why not clearly state, right up front for everyone to see, that there’s no longer a pool? The reason given is certainly plausible.
The little shop is overpriced and unfriendly; as always,... card payments aren’t accepted, and the selection is meager.
Things aren’t much better at the restaurant—the portions are small, the food tastes of nothing, yet it’s expensive.
The beer garden offers almost the same selection, is cheaper, and the food tastes better, too.
The restrooms are very well-maintained, as is the entire facility, in fact.

The restroom facility at the edge of the forest leaves much to be desired. It is kept clean and thoroughly sanitized, but the showers (for women and men) are in desperate need of renovation!
They can’t be adjusted properly,... so you have to choose between cold and very hot. Likewise, the shower intervals (which feel like 5 seconds) are very short.
Combined with the temperature issue, it’s almost impossible to take a shower.
We’ve already reported this problem to the front desk during previous stays, but it seems that it isn’t really considered a priority.

Thank you for your feedback. Our comfort areas at the edge of the forest, on the sun terrace, and by the carp pond are equipped with grass pavers. Without a specific site number, it’s difficult for us... to determine which site you were referring to and why you found it to be so uneven.
Of course, camping can get a bit muddy when it rains, especially when people are coming and going a lot. We’ll take your feedback into account, though, because a usable campsite is important for a relaxing stay.

We had a very old washhouse that wasn't clean; the toilet flush barely worked, if at all, and the showers were dirty—I was supposed to bathe my child in them. With the guest card, you can easily use buses and trains throughout the Lindau area, and from here you can quickly reach Lake Constance or set out on a tour of the surrounding countryside.
