Good campground
The welcome was friendly, and the campsite was easy to find. The restroom facilities were in excellent condition and always clean. The campsites are small and, unfortunately, hadn’t been mowed. Despite the drawback of not being right on Lake Constance but only in the region, there is no swimming pool. Great children’s program. Overall, a good campground at the high prices typical for the area.

Beautiful Campground
This was our first time at the Gitzenweiler Hof. The staff is very friendly, and the campground is very clean. The restrooms were also clean at all times. It’s just a shame that the pool is gone and has been replaced by a large gravel area.
We’ll definitely be back.

Really great
The campground is great. Lots of playgrounds.
Friendly staff. Free bus ride to Lindau; the bus stop is right next to the campground.
The only thing missing is the swimming pool—it’s a real shame it’s no longer there.
We’ll be back.

It would have been perfect if it had a pool
The campground was very nice, and everything was clean and tidy. We were really disappointed that the pool was gone. I didn’t even realize it until two days before we left—I think the website does a very poor job of communicating that the pool had been removed. We went there on a recommendation, and I hadn’t checked all the details because I knew there was supposed to be a great pool area.

Camping
The campground is really, really great—the Gitz is truly wonderful for the kids.

What I missed was an area where the kids could go in the water, especially in this hot weather. And maybe update the map a bit. It said there was a cooling station for ice packs, but it wasn’t there.
In my opinion, the Gitz was marked incorrectly on the map.
And overall, there’s something missing at the lakes.

Greener, quieter than by the lake

If you want to consider it a downside: it's a short bike ride to the lake and to Lindau. That didn't bother us.
An idyllic campground near Lake Constance
Everyone was super friendly, and the natural surroundings were beautiful and well-maintained. Plenty of space on the campground. There’s a store and restaurants on-site. Great, shady walks starting right from the campground, with the option for the dog to swim in the river. Perfect 😀

A very nice place
The campground made a very neat impression—everything was clean, and the staff at the front desk were always helpful; it was really great.
The “Elefantenplatz” was a highlight because it had free Wi-Fi.
The only downside is the prices (a plain roll for €1.20, and that’s the case everywhere), but I guess that’s becoming the norm.
We’d definitely come back.

We spent a week on vacation at the campground and really enjoyed ourselves.
The recreational activities are excellent.
After searching for quite a while, we also found several beautiful swimming spots on Lake Constance.

We'll be back!
Everything was well described, the reception staff were nice and friendly, and they explained everything clearly.
We had a comfort campsite on the edge of the forest and were very satisfied with it. The campground has everything you need, including
a small grocery store that offers a good selection of rolls and other items in the morning. The Italian restaurant is
also decent. Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely be back.

We'll be back.
A very nice place. Everything is very clean. The supermarket has very limited hours. A water play area or something similar would be great for the kids in the summer.

Great place

As always, it was a very pleasant stay—quiet and clean, with just a few minor complaints.
The main complaint is this: why not clearly state, right up front for everyone to see, that there’s no longer a pool? The reason given is certainly plausible.
The little shop is overpriced and unfriendly; as always,... card payments aren’t accepted, and the selection is meager.
Things aren’t much better at the restaurant—the portions are small, the food tastes of nothing, yet it’s expensive.
The beer garden offers almost the same selection, is cheaper, and the food tastes better, too.
The restrooms are very well-maintained, as is the entire facility, in fact.
We’d still be very happy to come back.
