The perfect starting point for exploring the Gemstel Valley and the Widderstein Valley. Located between Baad and Mittelberg. Very clean restroom facilities and a campground with a shop and restaurant. Very friendly staff; a quiet campground with the pleasant sound of cowbells ringing in the distance.

The staff could be a little friendlier. A smile on your face makes all the difference!! That's what I always think. And you still need to practice bagging the rolls! We got the wrong rolls twice!

The showerheads are unfortunately very calcified; the temperature control is inconsistent; and there is no stop button in the shower, resulting in high water consumption.

There's nothing to insert there

First and foremost: It was always clean everywhere. It was also very quiet, even though the place was full. The kiosk is small but packs a punch. The food and drink options include standard beverages and a small but excellent menu at reasonable prices. Not to mention the bread roll service. The exemplary trash sorting. The Walser menu. A must, in my opinion. Absolutely worth it. I almost forgot to mention this: the friendly staff

The location, dining options, bus service, and the Walser Map. There are many great hiking trails starting right from the campground. The Gemst Valley is ideal for beginners, families, and less experienced hikers, with several places to stop for a bite to eat.

When it rains, the shaded area gets very wet

Our campsite was very nice, and we had sunshine all day long—when it was out. The food and cake at the restaurant were delicious. The bus stop right at the campsite is a big plus for getting to the various activities.
